He, obviously, began the toast/speech at the wrong time - no teleprompter. No way would the Palace have messed up or deliberately set out to embarrass him. That place is run like clockwork.
Yes, he has made plenty of international gaffes where it seemed as though his staff didn’t know protocol or he just ignored it. I can’t believe we still have 2.5 years of this guy.
If they were playing “G-d save the Queen”, he might have thought it was “My Country tis of thee”
