Pry provided details of recent attacks on electricity systems and said that ISIS could easily team with Mexican drug cartels to ravage America.
He told Secrets, for example, that the Knights Templar drug gang blacked out the electric grid of the Mexican state of Michoacan in 2013 to provide cover for killing those fighting the drug trade.
The Knights Templars and other criminal gangs in Mexico will do anything for money, and ISIS, the richest terrorist organization in history, has hundreds of millions of dollars at its disposal, said Pry.
ISIS could hire one of the Mexican cartels, or one of their criminal gangs already in the U.S., or activate jihadist terror cells already in the U.S., and inflict a multi-state blackout immediately, within days or weeks. Perhaps even a nationwide blackout, Pry explained to Secrets.
I am not saying it is likely they will do so. But given the capabilities and objectives of ISIS and our obvious vulnerabilities, it would be foolish to ignore the threat to the grid, to regard the threat as unlikely. Our planning should be based on imminent asymmetrical threats, and not assume that another 9/11 large-scale attack is years away, he added.
The Texas Department of Public Safety recently said they believe there is evidence that ISIS plans an attack. (source)

I sure hope they goof it up and go off half-cocked.
Mohammed Atta and Company didn’t goof it up. But most of them do.

I wouldn't bet on more than 60% loss in cities.
There are a bunch of reasons behind that I haven't given here for space and time, but that's not a SWAG.

If you don’t have a generator that you can use to run your well pump, get a rocket bucket.
Some are made sturdy enough that you could use them a lot before they wear out. These are designed to fit inside existing wells that have been drilled, and manually bring up the water in the bucket.
Roger that. But..what are the best earthly items to have? Regards!
Advise family and friends to secure their homes with extra foodstuffs, water, fuel.
Pray up.
Turn brass, powder, bullets and primer into cartridges.
Buy tampons and toilet paper and cotton diapers for when those run out.
I would assume the worst and be thankful for the warning.
But in the end, this life is temporary and eternity is what I really hope to be prepping for.
10% will die from lack of modern medicine with 30 days.
Maybe 5% from the pure physical demands and being out of shape.
20% from bad water and disease inside 3 months.
The variable is those who will starve or die in violence.
It's not complex to deduce what will happen if the EBT system goes down, when basic services are not available, when parents see their children starving...We are the most technologically dependent society in the history of the world; in addition, most Americans don't know how to grow anything, hunt anything, defend themselves, etc. I believe TM’s analysis is spot on. I would rather prepare for a 90% die off and be proven wrong than gamble at anything less.
IF you can afford it. Old man was in and out of Hospital, then Mother found out she had 3 forms of breast cancer. Every spare dime I’ve got goes to helping them, hell I need a second job as it is.
I’m good with alot of things but solar power ain’t one of them, and you can only store so many batteries for fans.
Folks like my parents, that’s the ones I worry most about, and I can’t do a damn thing about it...
Rain gear
Head cover
Extra spectacles
A bible
Food
First aid kit

He was surprised.
He never dug down to the gritty part that includes fish-hooks, fire-starters, utility knives, and maps.
Always, and forever, I'll have weather gear (Some call it snivel gear) and a Bible.
I've got english and spanish... and one in Hebrew, but that's just for me.

Is going to be tough but someone will survive. If the rest of the world doesn’t experience the same. We’ll have a lot of company fast.
Apartment dwellers and many in the big cities will suffer just as you have said. However, not so for many of us rural folks.
I only have to walk to my backyard to get my food. I can grow everything we need for a nutritious diet. Anyone who has a little space needs to learn to grow their own food, and have the seeds on hand just in case.
I also know how to preserve food to get through the winter with and with out electricity. As has been said before, skills are important.
Personally, I have utmost respect for TM. Enough to include him if I mention him in a post.
The takers know how to work a deal, and work the system. Mothers will work the system that is left to make sure the people that know how stuff works will do what is required.
It's a lot like slavery.
You don't fire the dishwasher at the beginning of the shift.
People aren't stupid.
Underestimating the enemy is a big mistake that many have made.
They won't just give up and die.
Some will. Some will die to violence.
But every single one of those bastards has a genetic heritage of staying alive, no matter what.

,,something’s wrong.
Terribly Wrong!
All speculation on a possible collapse is almost sure to be wrong in many respects.
To think otherwise is hubris, pure and simple.
