“Did you die from any childhood diseases?”

I also didn’t get polio. Did you?

I didn’t get smallpox either, nor have I gotten tentanus.

I also didn’t get Autism.

You are spreading dangerous anecdotal supposition. People SHOULD get their kids vaccinated, especially now with illegal immigration unchecked.

Except that - if you're honest you would do the research and know that small pox had greatly declined before the vaccine, increased after the vaccine in westernized countries, and was effectively eradicated in third-world countries due to the surveillance and containment quarantine program.

Small pox eventually exterminated itself when people had access to clean water, good food, clean living conditions, and proper hygiene.

I did however, have a friend who got polio from the polio vaccination at 10, in the 60's. She was a paraplegic who died of lung cancer. Had she had full use of her lungs, would have realized there was a problem much sooner and may have been able to be treated. The only places there are still polio outbreaks are in places they give the oral vaccination.

We don't give Tamiflu when you don't have the flu, why should we be over medicating children based on hysterical "you may die" when in reality, most childhood diseases are a normal part of growing up and growing a healthy immune system. Your argument is based just as much on emotion as you claim to another poster.

Measles - treatable. Even with the vaccination as a kid, and two as a college student (didn't have proof at either college) I am not immune to measles, I found that out when I was pregnant. So I took personal responsibility and watched who I was around.

Chicken Pox - treatable.

Mumps - Treatable

Whooping Cough - Treatable

HPV Vaccination - teachable and preventable.

Maybe you can show me a study that shows vaccines are safe. You know, like a Double-blind, inert/saline placebo-controlled clinical trials.

If not that-- maybe you can show a study that shows how vaccinated children are healthier than unvaccinated children.

Oh wait, that probably doesn't exist either, maybe you could show me a study that proves vaccines do not have adverse reactions. Oh wait, even the CDC and package inserts show that not to be true, I know, there's got to be some way you can prove you are right.

Show me studies that prove vaccines do not cause any health conditions, including the ones they’re designed to prevent...again, that CDC warning, vaccination warnings, and gov vaccination fund rule this out.

Ok, since you said it first, show studies that show that herd immunity applies to vaccinations. Not just presumptions- show the proof (especially the mumps break out that just happened to a completely vaccinated group of college kids)

We know they don't give lifetime immunity, we know there is risk for taking them, we know people DIE from them...so really, isn't it up to the parents - not the gov, and not doctors to really have all the information, not just scare tactics to choose the best route for their family?
