The feminists held a “slut walk” in Chicago over the weekend. Nothing says feminism like women calling each other sluts. Their attempts to destigmitize the term slut by celebrating the sort of behavior that gets a girl labeled a slut says a lot about these folks. There’s nothing worse than “slut shaming,” which appears to be little more than calling a slut what she is. Interestingly one of the signs at the slut walk declared “all cops are bastards.” Apparently it’s acceptable to “slut shame” the mothers of police officers. None of the feminists saw the hypocrisy of such a sign.
This band of feminists wants to destroy America’s “rape culture.” If their goal was to severely punish men for forcible rape, most of the country would get right on board. However, that’s not the sort of rape they’re talking about. Just about everyone opposes forcible rape wherein a stranger overpowers a women and rapes her. Opposing that doesn’t create “change” and thus that isn’t what’s being talked about when rape culture is discussed. Instead what these people want to rid the world of amounts to whore’s remorse. They want to shift responsibility for a woman’s poor decisions onto men. So much for girl power.
On one hand feminists want women to be empowered to drink themselves to the point that they don’t remember what they’ve done. Such is empowering for women. However when a likely equally drunk man engages in sexual relations with a drunk woman the feminists want to cry sexual assault if the woman feels remorse about her poor decisions the next morning. We’re not talking about situations where some creep has drugged an unsuspecting woman, we’re talking about women who voluntarily get so drunk or high that they do foolish things they regret in the morning. Rather than feeling shame over their poor decisions, women are to “empower” themselves by crying sexual assault.
Universities across the country are following these standards. They’re expelling men over whore’s remorse. It’s never a woman’s responsibility when she engages in sexual conduct while drunk, the burden has shifted exclusively to men. These men are often equally drunk and make the same poor decisions. These decisions are evil but they aren’t sexual assault and they certainly aren’t rape. In many cases the men have the same whore’s remorse in the morning only instead of getting to blame someone else for their own foolish choices they get accused of sexual assault.
Our national morality has fallen so much that hooking up is almost the norm for college students. Getting drunk and engaging in sexual relations with strangers is common place. No doubt both sexes have their share of whore’s remorse in the morning. However, whore’s remorse does not mean that a sexual assault has occurred. Both sexes voluntarily drink to excess, they almost always voluntarily engage in sexual relations. Wishing you had said no in the morning does not equate a sexual assault. If women are so free and empowered to get drunk as a skunk than they’re must also be free and empowered to accept the consequences of their choices. Modern feminism wants all the freedom and empowerment with none of the consequences.
After looking at the slut pics I have decided I have been right all these years. A slut is just too ugly to make it as a pro.
This is just another case of the remarkable intolerance of the left. They simply will NOT TOLERATE you having any personal opinions that don’t conform with their world-view.
So it isn’t enough that women legally be allowed to BE sluts. They want to punish anybody who thinks a slut is a bad thing to be. They simply WILL NOT TOLERATE your having a judgment about their activities, regardless of how sane it is to NOT engage in slut-like activities.

It does seem they usually are the majority who tangle themselves in this junk....to “fit” otherwise is difficult for some more than others so taking a ‘weird role’ is easier then developing their personalities.

Most guys I know don’t have a problem with slutty women. As long as they’re honest about it. It’s the sluts who demand to be treated like ladies that push a double standard.
If you’ve got the guts to be a slut and admit it, more power to you.

Yes, there’s a double standard. It exists because women have a lot more to lose by being promiscuous than men do. Men generally do not cotton to the idea of raising another man’s children, and unmarried women who begat children often found themselves — and their offspring — at the mercy of the elements.
Men who were wealthy or powerful could afford to pay for their bastard offspring, and could use extramarital affairs as a way of propagating the bloodline, if not the family name.
Double standard? Yeah. But biologically inspired and sound.
Blame the gay man behind Carrie and her cohort.
And of course the guy has no responsibilities. Right.
