A handful of artists have expressed their outrage over Michael Brown’s fatal shooting in song and on social media — G-Unit, J. Cole, and Jeezy, John Legend and Frank Ocean, to name a few — since the tragic news first broke.
Now, Puff Daddy is joining them.
Last night, while watching the rising tensions between Ferguson, Mo., police and protestors, the rapper voiced his anger over the situation on Instagram — and called the president to action.
“This [expletive] ain’t right,” he said. “Obama, get on a plane — it’s serious. These are your people, baby. These are your people.”

Ten days after Brown was shot by a local police officer, President Obama has still yet to visit Ferguson. He instead offered a statement during a Monday press conference where he expressed concern over the treatment of protestors.
“We’ve got to make sure that we are able to distinguish between peaceful protesters who may have some legitimate grievances and maybe long-standing grievances, and those who are using this tragic death as an excuse to engage in criminal behavior.”
“This [expletive] ain’t right,” he said.”
Says the guy who promotes the “gangsta life” to kids.
I haven’t seen photos of any peaceful protesters.
