I may have to withdraw my award of “Most Rational of the Mostly Irrational Liberals for 2014” to Kirsten. Sad to say. I did have hopes for her.

Maybe Kirsten means well and people like her think they do. However while they gaze longingly at the huge horizon believing they and only they care so much more they are looking right over the very ones who are already here, first in line. They’re called Americans.

Kirsten, step up, show your Christian values, and warmly welcome some MS-13 gangbangers and other diseased invaders into your personal residence. No? Then STFU.

He's right. The US has poured billions into these rat infested cesspool nations over the years, not to mention how much money has been donated to religious and civic charities operating in these countries. Now here comes the Catholic Church and other do-gooders trying to make us all feel guilty that we aren't welcoming these illegals with open arms. Contrary to what all these do-gooders may think, the people of the United States don't have an infinite pile of money to dispense at will. We have our own problems which we can't even to begin to solve.
I used to give to a variety of missions and charities trying to combat poverty all over the world. Now these charities can all kiss my fat rear. I refuse to be intimidated or made to feel guilty.

In the House just now Louis Gohmert said it was harry Reid’s way or the highway..
he also said he had to vote NO on the vote up right now..
It gave Eric Holder the authority to pick the 40 new judges for the illegal aliens..
Louis said that besides he couldn’t see giving a man who is contempt that power...

And how many of these illegals are living in Powers’ million dollar home?

Granting asylum would not be in the best interest of this country or of children.
*It would enrich and encourage human trafficker and drug cartels.
*It would lead to more dumping of children.
*It would harm this country. What is wrong with wanting to preserve the USA?
*It would lead to huge security problem.
*These children may be infected with dangerous communicable disease cross the border.
*We are a nation of laws. This segment of people should not be placed above the law. It leads to a disrespect of our laws.
*Why should these children (and many are not children) get ahead of those who try to enter legally>
*We should be able to control who enters and who does not. If a country wants to exist, it must protect its borders.
*We have enough lawbreakers in this country. We don't need more.

Churches are being paid off by funny money from Obama Admin. to actively support Amnesty.
Wiether GOP-e is also actively involved is suspected but not proven.

What BS. These people are not being persecuted. The squalid conditions and gang violence in Central America has been going on for years - there’s nothing different now. Obama is just using the “children” as a ruse to import new Democrat voters. What a despicable man and despicable party.

“POWERS: Hey, have you ever been to the Statue of Liberty?”
Does Ms. Powers have any idea how many were returned from Ellis Island to their native country in Europe because they didn’t have proper documentation?
Does she know that those who DID have proper documentation were totally on their own once they got past Ellis Island? There were no ‘benefits’ whatsoever.
Those immigrants of yesteryear were willing to risk it all in exchange for the opportunity only of making it in the USA, no housing subsidies, no food stamps, no healthcare, no nothin’.

"Christian duty" is to send the children back quickly. They pose a safety hazard. The USA has every right to restrict who gets admitted and who does not.
It is outrageous to have a group of people designated as being above the law. They will not enhance our quality of life, and they will not improve our gene pool. Instead, they will drain our resources and great chaos. The amnesty people are playing right into the hands of the terrorists.
