Questions for the Left on Gaza...

It’d seem that the geniuses of the American left; see, for example, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, President Obama and the entire US State Department, need to ask themselves a few questions regarding what’s going on in Gaza.

How is a territory, supposedly under a blockade, able to arm itself with seemingly endless quantities of rockets? Who are the suppliers? Rather than offering a congestion explanation for locating these rockets in schools, why does the “smartest woman in the world” not ask herself this question first?

Who, except that imbecile Nancy Pelosi, believes that a “humanitarian” organization (Hamas) stockpiles rockets if not for the purposes of shooting them at Israel?

Why would an organization, genuinely interested in peace and coexistence, take on a fight with a superior military power? Why militarize at all? Why not try the non-violence approach if your goal is peace and a “two state” solution? How come all the leftists admirers of Gandhi and Mandela are not out there advocating this with a hashtag?

Who actually believes that Israel would deliberately target hospitals and schools and take the public relations hit this would entail? Given what we know about the jihadist nature of radical Islam, Is it not more likely that the human shields explanation is, in fact, correct? Where is the criticism of Hamas for doing this?

The answers to the questions above should be obvious to even the pygmies that constitute our leftist government but they represent inconvenient truths and will lead to decisions that are diametrically opposed to their chosen view of the situation. Israel ought to invade the strip, find the leaders of Hamas and put them away once and for all; the problem is, they cannot count on the support of the United States.

Unfortunately, Israel cannot count on the support of our current government.

Excellent questions. Reporters could ask them.

Sure. But given the current state of affairs in that region, I’d think it is in their best interest to have our support.

Thanks. They’d only ask if they were interested in the answers and fairness; so, I don’t see it happening.
