It amazes me how SP consistently interjects herself into any given news story at just the right moment and gets national coverage, almost anytime she wants, over and over and over.

Could the same thing be said of Geraldine Ferraro five years after losing in a Presidential election? Of course not.

Why can Sarah Palin command this type of attention? Well, most of us FReepers know why instinctively, way down inside without having to think it through.

I am convinced that Sarah Palin would have risen to national prominence very quickly even if McCain had not chosen her in 2008. And even with Romney’s minions working undercover to discredit her from the git-go and on up through and including this week.
