Bill Clinton: Hillary needs time to decide
The Hill ^ | Julu 21, 2014 | Rebecca Shabad

Posted on 07/21/2014 6:25:18 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

Former President Bill Clinton said his wife Hillary Clinton needs time to think about her message to voters would be is she runs for president in 2016.

She "really does need some time to think through this,” now that her memoir Hard Choices has been published, he said in an interview with CNN.

"We've reached a point in our life when we think you really shouldn't run for office if you don't have a clear idea of what you can do and a unique contribution you can make and you can outline that," Clinton added. "Now that the book is done, she wants time to think about that and work through it. I think so much of politics is background noise, and we don't need the background noise anymore."

Clinton, who claimed Hillary hasn’t asked him for advice on her 2016 decision, said he would be “fine” with whatever decision she makes after the sacrifices she has made for his career.

The 42nd president highlighted his wife’s abilities to lead the country.

"She is the ablest public servant I have ever worked with, even if she is my wife," Bill Clinton said. "She's smart, but she's also uncannily able to move from A to B to C. She gets things done and she is strong, she's just good, she is just really good. She would be really good. But it's a decision that only she can make, and I'm not going to try to jump the gun and if she decides not to do it, I'll be happy too."

Commenting on the “dead broke” comment his wife made in June, Clinton said the criticism that came out of that about his wife being out of touch was “fabricated” and “shows you how desperately, sadly we are dependent on a new level of political gossip every week.”

"Most people would think that being 16 million dollars in debt would qualify as being dead broke," Clinton said, referring to a number CNN said is higher than the $2.28 million to $10.6 million figure that was cited on their federal financial records.

"I don't think it's a bad thing to make money," Clinton said. "I think it's bad if you live in a system that's rigged against the poor and the middle class. That's a very different thing and the purpose of politics is to create a system of shared opportunities and shared responsibilities."

Wouldn't want to miss out on all those "bribes," I mean speaking fees and other "donations" being given to the Clinton Global Initiative "charity" fund.

senile people generally DO need time to decide anything.

The first step is determining what the question is

is

is

Exactly. When a Clinton is involved, the “time to decide” is really “time to make more money” before she officially throws her hat in the ring and can’t continue making $250,000 speeches. When these money-grubbing grifters do something, the reason always comes back to how much they can make.

He’s stepping in it agian..talking about the $$$

And the fact that she, at this point in her life, lacks a clear idea..a vision.. of what she would do if elected POTUS..pretty much shows how shallow and superficial she is..

... she's just good, she is just really good.

Well, that's good enough for the MSM and 47% of the American electorate. Why even go through the campaign? Just put her into to office.

Democrats believe they are appointed to rule and that it is their divine right to be in office. They view anyone besides a Democrat in office as illegitimate.

I am thinking it was easier for the Allies to hit the beach at Normandy than it will be for Evita to get onto the DNC ticket!

Her campaign rally song will be Foreigner’s “Double Vision”.

Hillary Clinton needs time to think about her message to voters

***********
Translation: Becuase she’s nothing more than a political opportunist with no accomplishments whatsoever, she is finding it a challenge to “craft” a slick message to dupe people into voting for her.

Time to decided if she wants to be humiliated yet again?

Maybe it's not too late for her to discover HER own Native America roots?

Yep. The Hard Choices tour was to be Hillary’s soft opening campaign. It was a disaster so they are now hitting the reset button - again.

The ice woman - Hillary - has no clue. Bill wants back in the White House. Hillary is old, doesn’t really want it, but is being goaded into it.

It’s over, Hillary.

Quit being such a piker, Bill! Go ahead, say you were $25 million in debt. It's got a much nicer ring to it.

OTOH, does that mean they're financial records are fraudulent?

Good post. The sense of entitlement goes from the top to the bottom of the Democrat Party.

Who do we want to see on the Dem ticket for 2016? Old Stinky (Clinton) or New Stinky (Warren)?

Which one is most likely to be so vile that their undeniable vileness counteracts all the brain-dead women out there voting with their women-parts?

The fate of the Republic hangs in the balance. Lovely.

“think about her message to voters would be”

A blatant admission that she will be lying to the public. If your "message" is you and your beliefs there is no need to get it together.

However, if your "message" is whatever you and your team decide will get you into power...then you need to poll, etc.

I think Hillary wants it, wants to be president. But she’s a terrible politician, a terrible campaigner. She’s an “ice princess” public persona. She reminds too many men of their first wife. She laughs at bizarre inappropriate times with her annoying cackle. She screeches too much and sounds outraged too often. The angry Hillary turns off many, not just men who are reminded of the first wife. She’s just not a natural politician.
