For like the umpteenth time, could you explain why this is important? I need my search engine to be accurate. I don’t much care what the company behind it decorates their page with. Why do you care?
I am not so weak in my faith and love for the United States that I need public companies to kowtow to my every whim and whiny gripe.
If you need constant coddling, consider this: Google has been at the forefront of helping Gmail users encrypt their mail against the NSA. Google pays well and treats its employees and shareholders well.
So if it comes down to a pretty picture of a flag or a company who stands tall against the abuses of the NSA, I’ll take the second choice every single time.
If feeling good matter more than doing good to you, I’m sure you’ll have another holiday to complain about any day now. August is National Catfish Month. I bet if you start now, you can work up a huge twist in your knickers by the first of next month.

The fact is, Google skews the news,and displays search results to reflect a very strong bias for left-wing,liberal viewpoints perspectives which you end up paying for, by losing out on a more evenly distribution of liberal and conservative points of view.
