I think there is more than meets the eye here. These people already have all the cheap labor they can ever hope for.
They’re not looking for ‘cheap labor’. They’re looking for lifelong Democrat voters as part of a demographic sea change that will obviate the need for Democrats to have lie, cheat and steal elections like they’ve been doing.
For any one of them to think this massive, massive influx of invaders would end up being permanent cheap labor is not well thought. The very act of accepting them, normalizing and legitimizing them to work, and eventually having to make them citizens automatically takes them out of the cheap labor category.
Given that legalization status, they will be demanding (and litigating) equal pay, minimum wage standards, voting rights and citizenship. They won’t be working for $10/hour cash much longer.
