I happen to know that guy Bracken. He’s a pretty good writer.

Wow. “Susy” wrote quite an ad for your books, what with all of the interest in dystopian stories in all of the media these days.

Any Drwr-reens? “D-camp” and a novel consumed with busty women?
Well, how else do they expect us to repopulate?

Matt, the first thing I thought about when I read your book was the older “Camp of the Saints” which I read when it first came out—but I couldn’t remember the title.
Although the libs rant against any idea that America is an irresistible lure to the poor of Latin America, the recent events prove it to be true, especially when the leftist in the WH publicly announces what is essentially an open border policy.
And they never acknowledge that there is an internal movement among some Mexican=Americans for a Reconquista that wants to separate the Southwestern states and California from the US.

Today, the way things are now, it all seems plausible and more like a forecast than fantasy.

As you very well know.... your enemies are my enemies, right? No problem, I'll be proud to stand next to you in the camps.... If we make it that far.

Damn. Should have had a spoiler alert. What’s left to read in the book?

Sorry took so long to get back to you. nti (aka no-to-illegals) once heard his Father say those Unintended Consequences can and will kill ya. Dad was speaking to me, so unless we had the same Dad ... it was not spoken to you. Nor did it come from me. If we had the same Dad, someone else is going on and we need to talk about our Moms.

Susy made up a lot of stuff from whole cloth, like some imagined fixation on Ranya’s chest.
Basically, like all leftists, she felt free to lie “for the higher cause.”

We can only wish.
But sometimes Dark Ages last for a long, long time, much longer than any mere human lifespan.

COS is very worth reading, even after 41 years. You won’t regret it, and you will hear the same echoing chords that you hear in the news today.
