Clearly, the early Neanderthals wintered in Florida and Capri.
"Archaeology reveals the age of ancient settlements Archaeological evidence confirms that Homo sapiens first settled in Europe between 40,000 and 35,000 BC. These early settlers presumably originated from common genetic stock. Genetic mutations like the "Sami motif" have indeed occurred down the centuries, but no other has had quite the same implications. It is of course conceivable that only the ancestors of the present-day Samis lived in a sufficient degree of genetic isolation for this chance mutation to survive. "
Average IQ of non-Africans is significantly higher than average African IQ. Beyond some threshold, high IQ for the purpose of surviving cold winters might experience diminishing returns.
Really. I did.
Just had to share.
it’s a little harder to come up with new ideas in a 130 degree heat.
The Neandertal Enigma"Frayer's own reading of the record reveals a number of overlooked traits that clearly and specifically link the Neandertals to the Cro-Magnons. One such trait is the shape of the opening of the nerve canal in the lower jaw, a spot where dentists often give a pain-blocking injection. In many Neandertal, the upper portion of the opening is covered by a broad bony ridge, a curious feature also carried by a significant number of Cro-Magnons. But none of the alleged 'ancestors of us all' fossils from Africa have it, and it is extremely rare in modern people outside Europe." [pp 126-127]

btw, Finns are NOT Scandinavian, they are actually related to Hungarians.
>> Finns are NOT Scandinavian, they are actually related to Hungarians <<
Absolutely correct with regard to language. But probably not correct with regard to body type, eye color, hair color, etc.
"The genealogical affiliation of Hungarian and other Finno-Ugric languages had been identified as early as the seventeenth century. The first works of historical linguistics proving Finno-Ugric interconnections originated in the eighteenth century. János Sajnovics, with his study on Hungarian-Saamic comparisons (1770), and Sámuel Gyarmathi, with his analysis of Hungarian-Samoyedic parallelisms (1799), laid the scientific groundwork for Finno-Ugric studies. The findings of these works were well received and furthered a consciousness, among the Hungarians, of linguistic kinship with the Finns, Saami and other Finno-Ugrian peoples. "
After gaining a modest understanding of the Hungarian language, I am more inclined to believe that they originated on the planet orbiting Alpha Centauri B.
and Estonians
langauge is actually distantly related to Korean.....
and exactly how did that happen? lol
IQ is effected by culture as much as genetics
When I was growing up, it was “Suomi”; now, it’s “Saami” or “Sami”. What gives?
When speaking on this subject, If I don't say 'Laplanders' (or reindeer herders) people have no idea who I'm talking about.
Now, I understand that the Saami view the term 'Laplanders' like some do the 'N'-word.
So....suit yourself.
