How many 16 or 17 year-olds ANYWHERE do you know who follow politics, read the Washington Post, American Spectator, The Weekly Standard, National Review or listen to political talk radio? We both know the answer to that question. Now if her mother had appeared on some E! show or Jimmie Kimmel she might have seen it. I had a classmate in high school who already worked at a funeral home, was studying the business and planned to become a mortician after he graduated. Does that mean that all 17 year olds know the proper way to embalm a body?

You seem to be “wrapped up in this girl” since you post on a thread complimenting that Bristol Palin is supportive of the SC Hobby Lobby decision tho you carry an unreasonable rage toward her. You must realize you bought up Bristol Palin’s past while this thread is about a current issue that FR supports.
So Bristol Palin recieves praise here because she supports the right SC decision. Perhaps you are on the wrong thread because the Bristol Palin “fanclub” is on the right thread.

I’ve no problem with people disapproving of Bristol Palin but their reasoning must be rational and right now your opinion of Bristol Palin still doesn’t make sense to me. You're saying to me that you think this 17 year old daughter of the Governor of Alaska had no idea her mother was being considered for VP even though half the country was talking about it and mom was giving interviews about it? You think Sarah gave that interview, came back home and said "What? What interview? Oh, nothing, nothing at all."

You're being more insulting than I am: you're saying Bristol's dumber than a rock, and the family never communicated with each other what was going on. The biggest political opportunity in her mother's LIFE (before or since) and the 17 year old didn't know about it?

Did you read the thread title? Since you dislike BP so much reading the title would have alerted you it was a thread supporting BP stance on Hobby Lobby. Posters want you to go away because you aren’t supporting that instead you are attacking BP for her past which isn’t relevant to the thread.

So, please check the thread title again and read the story then note how many posters celebrate BP support of Hobby Lobby.

You can start your own thread about BP ruining her mother’s political career I’m sure you’ll get many replies. Using this thread to do that will only get posters wanting you to hush about that.

Last, this is a pro-Hobby Lobby thread not a bash Bristol Palin thread. As Conservatives we should be encouraged when celebrities agree with our principles. And any celebrity support of the Hobby Lobby decision is great.

What I am outraged at is the two or three people here who have a “Hang ‘Em High” attitude towards young people who make mistakes - pregnancy, apparently, being a sin worse than murder or child molestation. There are people here saying that Bristol should have no money or career or life or be an advocate for virginity/abstinence. But no one has answered me on the question of whether they're willing to pay her welfare bills. I guess they want the extended family (who they say can have no part in rehabilitation either for Bristol or her child) to pay that bill.

I also didn't like the sexually-charged language of the people who were posting here very, very early yesterday morning. You were not here. Using ugly language towards sex turns me off. If that makes a cat fight, let me in.
