Matt Otten. This is a true virtuoso jazz guitarist IMO. Very smooth, effortless, style similar to Jim Hall. Maybe some will find him too cerebral but I could watch him move around the neck of that guitar for hours. One oddity about him is he seems to have never gigged or jammed with anyone else except rarely, a vocalist. All his videos are accompanied by backing tracks.

Can't believe I never heard of this Australian guy before! His name is Tommy Emmanuel

Tommy playing the blues. He is probably most famous for this style. I never heard anyone play this fast on an acoustic. If you don't know who Stevie Ray Vaughn is and/or don't like his music you're unlikely to enjoy this. Solo performance, as usual.

This is really wild rag of some sort with Joshco Stephan - sounds like a banjo piece. Crazy stuff! I love it, but some will find it grating.

Flamenco? Paco De Lucia has no equal, IMO.

It’s amazing that a human being can play like this, where it sounds like 3 guitars instead of one.

I’m watching/listening to Sandra Bae play Tears in Heaven right now. She’s very good, but should get better with age. I believe I could have guessed, just from listening, that she is very young.

This baby (at the time) plays with more sophistication and emotion, IMO. He also appeared with Tommy, in Bangkok a while back.

And some heavy metal a few years later:

Cool, but doesn’t press my buttons.

Sandra’s hands and fingers look ideal for playing a stringed instrument!

To all:

Sorry, I haven’t watched any of these yet.

I ran across a link to Tina S. Is she good or not?
