Report: Ebola Suspected In Europe: “Broken Through All Containment Efforts”
SHTF Plan ^ | 4/20/14

Posted on 04/20/2014 1:38:13 PM PDT by Kartographer

Though officials at the World Health Organization are feverishly working to stop the spread of the Ebola virus in what is now seven African nations, their efforts may be for naught. In Guinea, a hot spot for the deadly contagion, government health officials have said that the outbreak is nearly under control. Yet, Reuters reports that the government “planned to stop publicly releasing the death toll to avoid causing unnecessary panic.”

But panic may be in order.

Despite the best efforts of emergency health workers it appears that virus may have crossed out of Africa into Europe.

I would think that conservative forums should have some kind of standards for credibility of posted articles/Twilight Zone stories. I take it you don’t.

The carriers from Africa will be coming here, also....through our leaky borders.

The Feds will look the other way so that Washington DC continues to have a never-ending supply of cab drivers.

I think the credibility of the blog is questioned in your mind. Obviously others think differently, because of the valuable information that has been provided by some of their stories.

Now if you were talking banning NBC/ABC/PMSN, who have no credibility, that I might be willing to listen to.

“I am so screwed.”

It is passed by human contact. If it comes here, keep your hands off women and you’ll be fine since you have stored water and food and security.

Is Rooters credible? Because it is referenced in the article.

“Ebola is always going to be self-limiting — the problem with a virus that kills quickly is that it loses vectors too quickly to spread it .....”

You didn’t click to the part that says it can stay in a body for 20 days before there are signs so the infected person can spread it to others for 20 days. That is not quickly killing as you said. Once it breaks out in the carrier, then it kills that one quickly.

Find the movie, “Contagion” on Utube and watch it.

“Personally, I think the shtf blog should be banned here.”

Personally, ban yourself by not clicking on the thread.

“A number of sites have been banned by the owner.”

The owner, Jim Robinson, does “own” the house - he can ban whatever he wants. You are a visitor and can’t ban jack.

I made a mistake. The carrier starts infecting when fever starts. Sorry for the mistake on that bit. Because it can take all those days to show itself, the carrier can leave the initial point of contact and travel to another part of the world and infect that place when the fever starts.

No, I wouldn’t ban it.

If people are gullible enough to fall for a story where very important news is purported to have happened at “a hospital in Pisa”, let them have at it.

Even the gullible will see the light eventually.

As for the blogger, it’s not hard to find out if a hospital is locked down in Pisa, even if said hospital won’t talk. It’s called investigative journalism.

If you think you have some terrible infection, head to the nearest courthouse. With any luck, the lawyers will catch it...

Ebola tends to erupt in cultures that promote/expect close physical contact with the dying. As it tends to liquefy ones cells, “bodily fluid” contact is easy, and sufficient open wounds are more prevalent than most people expect.

Ebola has been historically self-limiting because it was found in remote areas. Typically people couldn’t walk out of those areas in less time then it took them to die.

That was then, this is now.

"Though they have denied that the Pisa hospital was locked down due to Ebola, they seem to be bracing for the possibility of a severe epidemic in Rome and Milan."

We could be sure that the Romans wouldn't like that. It would be the second time (first being the allied bombings of Rome during WWII).

Does anyone have one reputable source? One report that’s not based on rumors and conjecture?

Why courthouse? One day overlooking the House and Senate would get lawyers and politicians in one fell swoop.
