Sounds like Dan Love presides over a constant tax dollar burning party, complete with The Brute Squad scaring peasants into suicide.

The beard is to make him look like an operator. Yep. He's just a low-life Fedcoat gunthug, though.
One of those links has him intercepting one of his fellow gunthugs who was about to get questioned by peasant civilian commissioners over questionable activity.
Danny demanded the King's Man "get your story straight" privilege for his erring underling. They would answer questions at a time of THEIR choosing, unlike peasants in their chainmailed paws.

The point I was trying to convey is that, regardless of his military training or lack thereof, the presence of the beard and other operator signifiers is intended to intimidate. This is not a guy who is interested in de-escalating a situation or in peaceful negotiations.

One thing that I've been posting on the forum lately is that the paramilitary police forces appear to be being trained to CONFRONT the peasantry at all costs.
I'm becoming slightly annoyed with that attitude from supposed "public servants".
