The DHSMV thus takes a strict view of what is permissible on a license plate.

Okay, I think I get why the powers that be in the FL DMV didn’t like all of them except PSYCH. Besides bans on implied sexual content (really sux still counts?), and renderings of the word “hate” or words considered vulgar, it seems references to governmental agencies are out, but what was wrong with PSYCH???
