I question his background and support any effort to bring that to light, but, in 1979 young men did not have to register for the draft. I was 21 years old then and didn’t have to. People need to get their facts straight before going to court as it makes us all look like kooks.

1979 No draft. 1980, MEN MUST REGISTER for Selective Service, which is still true today, at age 18 and the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are required to also, but ignore that. There are PENALTIES if you lived here during the 18-26 age group and didn’t register then. Even if you are 40 or 50 NOW.

I graduated from high school in Hawaii in 1979. I registered with selective service when I turned 18. I don’t remember all the details, but I think I did it because I had to.
