The problem is the US is getting its but kicked everywhere right how. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Ukraine and we are sick and tired of it, while at the same time admiring the tactics of those that are kicking its but. That does not mean we like Putin. In fact I was probably one of the top 10 vocal opponents here when he invaded Georgia. But back then, the US was winning. The US was right. The US was Just. You cannot say that anymore. And that is the real problem. You have to assume the US is wrong in everyone of its positions from Global Warming to NSA spying to Using the IRS to Punish Political Opponents and on and on.
I view it more in the context that we have an occupation government. This is like Vichy France at the moment. WE ARE THE RESISTANCE!

Agreed. The US, as represented by its government, which in turn is a reflection of the majority of its people, no longer holds the moral high ground.
