I’m dialing it up/down to nanoaggression.
If luggbutts (LGBT etc. — if there is a standard order to the letters nobody has posited it yet) hate it, it may not be half bad.
“Gay” in its current sense might be an apt word to describe something that has gotten passionately and showily sidetracked into illegitimate things en route to its intended goal, and is currently frozen in impotence.
Example: “The GOP is so gay.”
Example: “The GOP is so gay.”
(And, the Tea Party is reparative therapy.)
