What's old is new.

Remington's site has no info about the R-51 yet.

Jeff Quinn at Gunblast.com did get to spend a few hours trying a pre-production model and had good things say about it. He won't pass final judgement until he gets a production model but he says the MSRP will be under $400.00 so street price should be in the $375 range.

This will be made of unobtainium....if you want one order it ASAP and pray you see it by Christmas. Like the PMR30, the RMR30 etc. you will hear a lot about this gun but actual samples will be rare as hens teeth for a long time.

Yeah.
Trigger Happy Guns made the comment:
"Here's hoping Remington is nothing like Ruger in the roll out of their new pistols. If Ruger says mid-February, they mean for only <1% of their dealers and the rest get them in 9-18 months."

Sorry but they took an $80 million bribe to stay in New York State. I don’t buy Remington and I discourage others from doing so.

Bond. James Bond.

Yes, except for the trigger, it does look a little like Bond's Walther PPK

Or maybe the Russian Makarov

Design is interesting. Price is amazing. If they produce a subcompact version of this (barrel sub 3” , and grip smaller), I would definitely get one.

I was seriously interested in this in a .40 cal until your post. I will not purchase a Remington product for that very reason.

I waited two years for delivery of my PMR 30 from Impact.com. Its a great little gun and I’ve been offered $1,000.00 for it several times but I think Keltec deliberately under produces to create demand.

Servc1969 - thanks for posting.

Hey guys - a new Remington, guess we’ll see it at our LGS this next year. Nice variety of single stack 9mms available these days.
