The massive wave of support for the suspended star of 'Duck Dynasty' has led to a national event to bring folks out in force to show they stand with Phil Robertson and his right to free speech.
“Chick-Phil-A National Support Day” is a Facebook event started earlier this week by Eric Odom – founder of one of the largest pro-Robertson Facebook pages – and others, “from a grassroots view” to urge support of “two of the biggest brands to have, in recent history, come under fire for sharing an opinion on personal faith-based beliefs:” Chick-fil-A and Phil Robertson.
And -- so far -- over 50,000 patriots are joining in.

“Join the movement to support Chick-fil-a and Phil Robertson by wearing cam/Duck Commander gear to eat at a Chick-fil-a on January 21, 2014,” the event reads, and since Monday, over 51,000 people are planning to do just that.

A good idea would to hand out voter registration forms or to hand out literature for candidates who support Phil unequivocally.

Let’s hope this goes viral. My Wife is in and a bunch of guys at church are in. Let’s stand up for Godly values in “flyover country”. I’m so tired of talking heads and pontificators speaking for us. We all know in our heart what is right. We were once a nation striving to be Godly, Now we are full of enablers, therapists, and socialist money grabbers.
All Duck Dynasty supporters should take a duck call to Chick Fil-A. Then if the faggies invade & start demonstrating, everyone plays their duck call at max volume like zuzuvelas and drown them out.
Of course, faggie protesters who can’t be heard will start doing disgusting visual things, so be careful.

Free speech day is in November, it’s called election day and everyone should place the importance on involvement, not a chicken sandwich, or a duck calling manufacturer.
No disrespect to either Truett Cathy or Phil Robertson but what happened to them is just a symptom of the victim culture that the government rewards.
Of course that is true.
Events like this, Chik-Fil-A and tea parties build passion, commradere and commitment. That leads to turn out in November.
Generally the closer to the election the better but you have to make hay when the sun shines.

I’ll be there. It so happens our local car club puts on their cruise nights every Tues. at the Chick-fil-A on Rt50 in Brooksville, FL.
