The massive wave of support for the suspended star of 'Duck Dynasty' has led to a national event to bring folks out in force to show they stand with Phil Robertson and his right to free speech.
“Chick-Phil-A National Support Day” is a Facebook event started earlier this week by Eric Odom – founder of one of the largest pro-Robertson Facebook pages – and others, “from a grassroots view” to urge support of “two of the biggest brands to have, in recent history, come under fire for sharing an opinion on personal faith-based beliefs:” Chick-fil-A and Phil Robertson.
And -- so far -- over 50,000 patriots are joining in.

“Join the movement to support Chick-fil-a and Phil Robertson by wearing cam/Duck Commander gear to eat at a Chick-fil-a on January 21, 2014,” the event reads, and since Monday, over 51,000 people are planning to do just that.

Jan 21! I will be in Canada but I have asked my wife to go to CFL and get a sandwich or 2 (we don’t really have cammo clothes but I’ll see if I can find a T-shirt for her in the meantime).
I think it’s a great idea and will be at a local Chik-fil-et to support traditional Christian values. I do think there is some validity to everyone buying a duck call and using it to signal our displeasure at God-hating liberals and worthless Washington bureaucrats.

That “quacks” me up. Like I said earlier, the closest Chik-Phil-A to us is in California. Camo up in support anyway.
I wanted to support Chik Fil A the last time, but the line of cars waiting had filled the huge mall parking lot and was backed up out onto the 4 lane highway.
No Chik-Fil-A near me in Michigan...tis a shame.

I’m all for supporting Phil R., but didn’t Chick-fil-a basically back down last year and promise to cease supporting traditional marriage groups??
Darn. We really need a Chick-fil-a in Las Vegas but, they won’t allow one here. Sad.

That was similar to the situation near me as well. In the BLUE STATE that I live in! Lines were ridiculously long with traffice backed out onto a major highway.
