Like saying eating beef is cannibalism. WTF?
If animal rights are taken to their extreme, it is consistent. As Ingrid Newkirk, co-founder and current president of PETA said:
"Animal liberationists do not separate out the human animal, so there is no rational basis for saying that a human being has special rights. A rat is a pig is a dog is a boy. They are all mammals."
This being the case, from her point of view eating a cow is no different morally than eating a human being.
