It would be easier to dig it out if Swann gave us more news and less of himself, but anyhow I’m not surprised at seeing psy-ops of various sorts.
Psy-ops are as old as the Garden of Eden when the Serpent insinuated that God was only being envious of his evil self. The attempt to do morality outside of God was of course self dooming.
Anyhow. Not even truth will prevail without God backing you. If you get the devil backing you, you’ll fumble the truth away.
How about just telling us what Ben Swann found out?

Mechanism is not new, exactly, and the physiological consequences of koran learning are severe - brought about by the necessary language itself. Arabic scr*ws with your brain.
That they’re mapping this out is actually very alarming, and a culmination of research that has been going on for a generation.

Arabic is just a language. It’s no worse or better than any other human language. It does just fine for bibles (yes there are Arabic bibles). The related Hebrew and Aramaic share some characteristics, though not looking quite as much like pen-plotter tests.
What would really screw with your mind would be Koran in any faithful translation. Those verses aren’t self consistent (of course) but they do lead along demonic trains of thought. Who stopped to think how bizarre it was that Jimmy Carter was so obsessed with these texts? In English! I mean I could see a naive attempt to try to reason with the then-new Taliban in their cultural idiom... but there’s no reasoning with this text. It’s the slippage from irrational folly to folly that the devil does well because the devil knows the dark side of the human mind.
Actually, you’re mistaken. Not written Arabig, but spoken, which is part of the mandatory training for koran learning.
It contains language structures which are so hard for the brain to cope with that it leads to physiological change. How serious these changes are is not yet known, since few institutions are looking into them, but the first ref I saw was from Hebrew university in Jerusalem.
I could probably dig them out.
Also on Arabic... some other languages use the Arabic script. Like Farsi. A friend of mine who hailed from Iran (Persia) and who was a devout Christian showed me a book of Christian praise songs in Farsi. I asked him if it was pen plotter tests :-). He almost conked me over the head with the book :-). The problem is not the Arabic. It’s the Koran, in any language.
And yes, of course a great deal of jihadis fall into islam because it gives them the door to be what they want - not different from the nazis in the 1930’s. You always have the human garbage element seeking to assert itself.
Well, you believe I’m mistaken, but I’m inclined to say that is one man’s biased axe to grind that you are believing.
Arabic is cognate to Hebrew and Aramaic. The idioms are similar. I studied Hebrew and when I hear quotes in Arabic I think hey, they are so similar. Maybe that’s why my mind is weird.
For example, al-this and al-that in Arabic correspond to Hebrew ha-this and ha-that. Brain scans? Well I’d like to see them for English speakers taught Hebrew (you’d find a lot in divinity schools) and taught Arabic. It’s easy to claim you have a unique result without proper science.
From whatt the original study said, they are similar but so much different that the brain can cope with Hebrew and Aramaic without having to bend into pretzels. Even if they’re walking the edge, so to speak.
Ultimately I would want to see the science. I am not an unbeliever about science, in its proper domain. (When science attempts to become a Theory Of You, that’s when it should be told to halt.)

And that might not be wholly unexpected if true. The line of Ishmael was prophesied to be a mad people. (God never wanted people to be violent, but God lets it happen, within His bounds.) Basically is it chicken or is it egg we are speaking of here? Anyhow, Arabic will work for bibles, and translations from Arabic into English don’t usually sound stilted. Still, if Arabic speaking Christians would benefit from learning another language, that might be useful to know.
