I could not read past #2. It breaks my heart that people would make this decision based on money. Dream house trumps children? How can that be right? Children are one of the delights of life.

When I was a kid, back in the sixties and early seventies, I remember "The Dream" being a big house, eating out at fancy restaurants, belonging to a country club, and driving a caddy. What else could anyone want?

I don't remember my parents promoting it, but I absorbed it from the atmosphere.

It doesn't sound like much has changed, except that we're all poorer, now.

We have a handful, and we have been well to do and poor (thanks to Odumbo & co)

I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Wifey and I will always be “rich” with them in our lives

Libs are miserable selfish people who would never consider the gift of a child as a blessing.
