Lindsey Graham’s office ‘returns fire’ after South Carolina conservatives say the veteran pol has been neglecting his home state

Conservatives fighting to thwart Sen. Lindsey Graham’s reelection are calling for South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley to organize a search for the “missing” Republican.

Releasing an ad of Graham’s face plastered on the side of a milk carton, his opponents say Graham suffers from a “severe case of Potomac Fever” and seems to have “lost his way.”

They cite Graham’s frequent trips abroad and his alleged cozying up to moderates in Washington.

The Missing campaign is the brainchild of Carolina Conservatives United, the 527 advocacy group behind the Defeat Lindsey Graham effort.

California Conservatives United South Carolina conservatives are plastering Sen. Lindsey Graham's face on milk cartons in these ads, asking the public to help find the ‘Missing’ conservative.

They claim the senator has not been seen in his home state “for most of the last two years."

“It is imperative that we find Lindsey Graham and bring him home,” Breeanne Howe, a board member of the group, said in a statement, calling on Haley to issue a "Silver Alert" - a notification system to find missing senior citizens espeically those with dementia.

But Graham’s campaign fired back, literally, in response to the claim Graham has been absent from his homestead.

The move comes in a contentious race for Senate, in which Graham is seeking his third term. Graham’s office pointed to a picture of the senator shooting an AR-15 at a gun range in Greenville, SC from last week.

The 58-year-old is running for a third term and faces Nancy Mace, the first female graduate of the Citadel, State Senator Lee Bright and local businessman Richard Cash in the GOP primary.

You'all need to get control of that State Party, one county at a time!

You might, just might, be able to throw this sack of trash out of office in the meantime using enraged and energized citizens in the meantime, so he can perpetually live in DC, where he wants anyway.

He will live out his privileged life on our tax dollars anyway but he doesn't need to continue to contaminate the rest of us with his love of all things liberal!

The KS dRAT scum is equally bad!

That's what is so difficult to accept, that the mod/liberal establishment GOP would rather the dRATs win than any "great unwashed conservative" candidate.

Right after the 2010 election and a few of us (the local GOP county elected members) were subjected to a meeting in which the terms "Reagan Republicans" were almost hooted out of order.

Our "friends" on the other side "Reagan Republicanism is dead, we're Eisenhower Republicans!"
