On Monday, Lancaster County sheriff's deputies arrested Raymundo M. Perez Cruz, 32, after he reportedly raped a 13-year-old girl he met at church.
The two sing together in the choir at Sacred heart Church.
On July 17, the victim received a message through a mutual friend that Cruz wanted to meet with her, according to police.
The Lincoln Journal-Star reported:
“Cruz drove the girl from the Burger King to Bluestem Lake, the affidavit said, and they drank beer together as he drove. The affidavit said the girl told investigators that at the park they both got out of the Ford Expedition, Cruz lowered the back seats, grabbed her around the waist, pushed her into the back of the vehicle and sexually assaulted her.
The following day, Cruz warned the victim not to tell anyone because it would hurt his own children, according to court documents.
The girl then reported the assault to her parents. She was examined at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, and authorities were notified.
Cruz (aka Luis Lopez-Muniz and Raymundo Perez) has been charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child. He is currently being held at the Lancaster County Jail on an immigration detainer.
If convicted, the illegal alien faces up to life in prison.

I believe it varies by province. In some provinces it is 12.
Mexican men love these little girls. Here in Austin it happens pretty often. Last week a 14 yr old girl was raped by up to 10 Mexican men. The smaller the girl the better they like it. Makes me sick!
There are “cultural differences” regarding sex with minors also, as 12 year olds can consent to have sex in Mexico.
Sure they can. maybe ‘legally’.
But that should never be allowed in this country, it is cultural pollution of the worst type and we should not let people off for it
Total agreement. I don’t know why they don’t change that degenerate law in Mexico. How do they expect to protect their young girls. It also makes pedophiles think that there is nothing wrong with what they do since it is legal.
Mexico has enough problems trying to enforce the laws they have now, its a real basketcase
