I didn't cave and I trust you didn't either -- and nobody will ever thank people like us for it. But we helped the nation dodge a liberal bullet. Had Romney been president, today would have turned out very, very differently.

No, I never did cave, but after the first debate, Romney had me half convinced that just maybe he had some personal qualities that I'd prefer over the petulant, narcissistic, lunatic ideologue we have in the White House now.

That was a tough moment in time for all of us. We were stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea without a life raft. The whole event plagued my mind, and caused me endless stress, because I knew in my heart that if we propelled Romney into the White House, that he'd turn around and bend over backward to "reach across the aisle" to the Commies.

We Freeps would have been nearly suicidal after four years of his appeasement to the libs.
