Watching porn boosts support for same-sex marriage

There is no delicate way to say this: Exposure to pornography softens opposition to same-sex marriage among the largest group of naysayers, heterosexual men.

A new scholarly analysis suggests that the more straight guys, especially those who are less educated, watch pornographic videos, the more they warm to same-sex marriage. The reason: Porn opens their mind up to accepting non-traditional sexual situations, like gay sex.

"Our study suggests that the more heterosexual men, especially less educated heterosexual men, watch pornography, the more supportive they become of same-sex marriage," Indiana University Assistant Professor Paul Wright told Secrets.

3,500 year ago the Jewish prophets wrote about the same kind of moral decline - homosexuality, tree worship, godess worship, people following their own morals. There’s nothing new about it.

I believe a lot of men watch Lesbian porn. I doubt many watch male gay porn. For some reason many men wonder what women do that attracts them to other women.

The answer is nothing a man cannot do better.

Yeah, I’d say that Romans had it about right….It’s a slippery slope all the way (no pun intended) once the barrier is crossed from a proper, healthy and God approved sexual relationship of a wife and husband because on the other side, it quickly leads all the way to outright depravity. First the softening of an opinion on whether sex is acceptable outside of the marriage context. Then once that barrier is crossed, the slope essentially changes into free-fall…..what is acceptable sexual behaviour and particularly so as people turn sexual activity into a spectator sport. One only needs to look at porn for a minute to realize that it’s nature is to be ever-increasing in its outrageousness as women engage in that that which is not natural to the husband-wife relationship. Then, once the concept of sex as viewer entertainment/sport is in some form acknowledged as being acceptable, it makes it much easier for the same sexual acts to be performed by same sex participants, threesomes, foursomes, animals and so forth. It’s time that the word ‘perversion’ came back into common usage….. I had a friend, who, in another lifetime, handled IT for a porn site. Thankfully, he only handled the computers and stayed away from the front of the camera (shudder....him posing would have single-handedly ended the entire porn industry overnight...) This was back in the mid-90s, when the Internet was just firing up.

He said that he learned two things....what is presented as porn, and what porn is, are completely different. He said that a photo shoot is about as sexy as going to the bank and making a withdrawal. 100% business, and that's it.

AND, he said that when two women are together, if a guy jumps into the mix, he just gets in the way. :-) "It ain't what you think!", he said, approximately.
