Yeah, I’d say that Romans had it about right….It’s a slippery slope all the way (no pun intended) once the barrier is crossed from a proper, healthy and God approved sexual relationship of a wife and husband because on the other side, it quickly leads all the way to outright depravity. First the softening of an opinion on whether sex is acceptable outside of the marriage context. Then once that barrier is crossed, the slope essentially changes into free-fall…..what is acceptable sexual behaviour and particularly so as people turn sexual activity into a spectator sport. One only needs to look at porn for a minute to realize that it’s nature is to be ever-increasing in its outrageousness as women engage in that that which is not natural to the husband-wife relationship. Then, once the concept of sex as viewer entertainment/sport is in some form acknowledged as being acceptable, it makes it much easier for the same sexual acts to be performed by same sex participants, threesomes, foursomes, animals and so forth. It’s time that the word ‘perversion’ came back into common usage….. Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
