Virginia Tech: Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff.

Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal.
Connecticut School Shooter: Registered Democrat; hated Christians.
Banning guns won’t help. Maybe we should try banning moonbats.
Another common thread in many of these: kids on psychodrugs.

You forgot about the loon in Arizona. Also, all of these mass shootings took place in Blue Counties.
Black Americans normally do not fit into the profile of a mass murder. I wonder if it’s because they are more of a victim to liberalism. The Beltway sniper attacks was black but also a Muslim and he probably brainwashed the teenager that was with him.
I keep seeing this type of post pop up, here and elsewhere. Is there any evidence of any of this? Unsubstantiated stuff like this helps no one.
Loughner in Tucson AZ. Shot that Congresswoman in the face, and killed a bunch of others. Loved Marx. Mom worked for the County government, the government that hid his loonyness.

It really is a common thread. I think McVeigh’s group were a branch of Marxist/Fascist. I know he was an atheist, but that doesn’t stop the press from saying he was a Conservative Christian.
The press always starts out saying that these killers are conservative Christians, then the truth comes out and they are silent. That is another common thread.
The shooters' voter registrations were mentioned in the papers? News to me, and I can't seem to find it anywhere online now. Same with anything about James Holmes being an Obama staffer. Same with just about everything on this list (with the exception of the Ft. Hood guy being a Muslim, of course)
Oh, I agree entirely. I just don't think we gain anything by going the other way, and just assuming all of these guys are socialist Dems (but I repeat myself...). Based on what I've read about most of these guys, they are likely apolitical (or, at least, don't fall anywhere on any 'normal' part of the US political spectrum).

And where's the evidence that Holmes worked on the Obama campaign? For that matter, where's the evidence that Lanza hated Christians?
Being crazy is a full-time job. I doubt these guys really had much time for political theory or advocacy.

I found one uncredited blog post with no sources supposedly talking about Holmes working for the Obama campaign, that honestly just seemed to be a nutball conservative's fantasy.
Other than that, a couple people excitedly linked to public campaign donation records claiming that Holmes donated to Democrats, but all I saw were a bunch of "James Holmes" that obviously were NOT him based on geography, job, etc.
What happened is that a lot of people on the Right were just making up stuff about Holmes to make a point about the nonsense about him being part of the Tea Party, but then other stupid people were taking THOSE claims and treating them like they were real.

Loughner is not on the list in this article. I’m asking about the assertions made in the linked article - other than the Ft. Hood shooter being a Muslim, is there any corroboration or evidence of any of the other assertions listed above?
