Australia, New Zealand ? I hear there are some parts of South America are kinda like early American west with cattle ranches and open prairies.

It all depends on how you want to live and your health and wealth.

This place will probably be better post-collapse than most other places.
Stay, brace up,or hunker down, call it whatever, and fight if you have to. Most other economies are going to trash with ours.

I worry about my meagher retirement account....you deny yourself over the years to save, and will be ever be able to take it out, let alone move it to another country....

“Republic of Texas” comes to mind... we don’t yet have controlled borders but as things change ... we might get there.

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is pretty much a foreign country. You don't need a passport to get there.
