#4 - I cant tell you how many times Ive been surprised to learn that one of my white friends or associates was a Republican. Ugh. Its a troubling realization. Not only because of the political ideologies; (I dont understand why folk cant see the Republicans are just about money.), but also because the Republican party has been known to associate and or attract the type of folk who cling to racist, sexist and classist thoughts and even behaviors. Theres the tea party folk, the Todd Akin type dudes and most recently people who cant act like they have a modicum of sense or even humanity, at a convention where the party is supposed to be putting their best foot forward. Why didnt they get the memo that its not ok to throw peanuts at a black woman?!

Just infuriates me to no end that folks don't want to actually read and understand what each political party stands for, and vote accordingly.
My God—the idiocy is blinding, and it hurts!
Do black people really think like this?
But it's perfectly OK to buy her off for the price of an ObamaPhone.
I'd lay even odds that the dufus making this comment has one themselves.
I liked don’t eat chicken/watermelon in front of white people.
They just keep on supporting the party of slavery and the KKK based purely on lies, promises, and the certainty that the democrat base constituencies are STUPID.
Roll on with the democrat party dummies and it won’t be long before you kill off the economy and run out of other people’s money.
Who do you think will be forced into the labor camps to produce subsistence for the masses? The answer is: ALL OF US, including you dem dimwits.
FUBO & FAD
Folks don’t want to actually read and understand what each political party stands for.
True Obama counted on the stupid ones all he had to do is tell them he’s going to give them socialism.
They still don’t get it that he proved how stupid they are.
That’s right! The Republicans do nothing but stereotype others and dismiss them completely.
Wait...what was the question?
I don’t know if this list is accurate, but it sure would explain a lot.
“Do black people really think like this?”
Some do.
Some are right about some whites.
Some whites hate blacks just because.
Some blacks hate whites just because.
Some Mexicans hate both of them.
The irony is, that the whites the blacks and Mexicans hate most are most likely to be the Dems for whom they vote.
They all have far more in common with us than them.
Confusing isn’t it?
Which makes her a.....
Assuming this author isn’t pulling our legs, here’s some info for her:
Generally speaking, black people think in incredibly racial terms. Republicans refuse to approach them racially, believing it to be inappropriate and racist.
To get the black vote you would have to engage in some pretty reprehensible behavior. In other words, act like democrats.
I like to talk about race with non-ignorant people. If those people happen to be white, great. But more times than Id like to remember, some white folks have been completely oblivious to what it means to be a minority in this country. How many times have you heard a white person ask, in all seriousness, Where is White history month? or state I dont see color. or Black people are always pulling the race card. Statements like that will cause you to look at a person you once liked in a whole new, unfavorable light. To avoid the grave disappointment, you might be so inclined to keep race out of it.
Renay, honey, what are 'non-ignorant people' the way you define them? Someone who coddles your racism and sense of self-inflicted victimhood?
Renay, honey, you are cordially invited to FOAD!!!
Ignorance and stupidity like this should burn like acid.
Keep your powder dry.
There is one thing you can’t do around black people or Latinos, and that is tell the truth. Give them some freebies, and tell them all the money is going to become theirs, and watch as they fall deeper and deeper into poverty and hopelessness. Keep the BS flowing, and call it liberation.
Apparently, Renay’s mother is a total a$$hole who couldn’t even spell her first name right. What is it with this R E N A Y $hit? See you on Jerry Springer first, and then Maurey’s Baby Daddy Show.
I just realized her last name is Alize. That’s a popular alcoholic beverage with many black people.
Let's see. They voted 95% for the man who stands for this very attitude. So, I'd say the answer is "Yes".
I tried to have a discussion with a bunch of black guys at the tennis courts where I play in New Haven, CT. One guy talked about how he challenged a black woman co-worker by saying, "You're not rich. How can you be a republican?"
There was agreement to that from all around.
Until they see the damage relying on the racism from the democrats for their livelihood by a collapse in the economy nothing will change.
> Do black people really think like this?
There are a lot of white folks who think exactly the same way. In fact, what this man said is almost word-for-word what I hear from some in my family and most of my colleagues. ‘
If these people were honest, they would admit that they’re “all about money”, too.
Difference is where they get it. From working or from the government teat.
“... a bunch of black guys at the tennis courts where I play...”
Now I know you’re lying.
My son used to be a pre-loader for UPS. The pre-loader would pull packages off of a line of moving packages and run them into a UPS truck. They have to move fast to do the job correctly. The people of color would sometimes break out into song and dance ignoring the packages going by. It used to really tick him off because it made more work for him. According to this article, he should have just accepted it as part of their culture.
Bigotry and paranoia, pure and simple.
No, my white in-laws think like this too. I’ll be visiting them soon. If they broach the subject, I will gleefully inform them that if I am layed off and forced on the dole, that I will send them weekly thank you letters for their hard earned money that they so willfully voted to distribute to those in an unfair environment. “Dear Cortney & Tamie, early this morning before you head into that miserable Houston Texas traffic, ill be heading out to my newly renovated enclosed sun room as I sit around using my newly purchased tablet in my home with a lowered mortgage rate. Thank you for working so hard and being a team player in that cubicle with no windows. Thanks, for paying my bills and clothing and feeding my kids. I couldn’t have been more happier. I am so glad you voted for Obama, what was I thinking when i chose that evil Bain capital white man! Gotta go?
Maybe she can understand this. There are people of all races in my neighorhood, but I do not think of it as a “mixed” neighborhood, the very same way there are people of all ages in my neighborhood, but I do not think of it as a “mixed” neighborhood or as generationally tolerant. Yes, I do SEE the children, but I don’t see them as little social units that have some sort of political meaning. That is what we mean when we say we don’t see color. We see people as people not as chess pieces. So, sue us. Oh, wait, yeah you do that, huh?
Nope... made perfect sense to me..

And here is Republican Governor Lester Maddox and his son about to teach this black man not to walk in front of his restaurant again.
And here is Republican Governor Orval Faubus making sure that no blacks are admitted to the white high school in Little Rock.
It would take the forceful action of Democrat President Dwight Eisenhower to ensure that Arkansas schools would be integrated.
Huh? Explain!
It’s a joke because black people don’t play tennis.
“Do black people really think like this?”
Not all. But....
My neighborhood became diversified and I get to see the mindset up close. Too close...
Republicans want to keep the money that they earn.
Democrats want to take the money from them and give it to people who vote democrat.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who willingly don their collars.
Not true. Some of the best players I've ever played against are black. At that court in New Haven the sole black Supreme Court Justice for the state of CT plays there.
Then there is the ATA (American Tennis Association) founded to counter the USTA who wouldn't allow blacks at the time if its formation.
I have difficulty taking a person as anything other than a jackass who describes people as “Todd Akin type dudes”.
Like I said, it was a joke. I personally know some black people who play tennis. I was just trying to lighten up the thread.
Republicans want to keep the money that they earn.
Democrats want to take the money from them and give it to people who vote democrat.
Don "no soul" Simmons might disagree with you.
a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
It is a joke. I’ve met Malivai Washington on a number of occasions.
And then the "fiscal conservatives" push the social conservatives to the fringe, saying that Republicans can't win with them.
As if most of America is going to get passonate about a few spolied trust fund babies crying about their next estimated tax payment, and complaining that $5 million isn't enough to inherit tax-free.
Talk about being racist and bigoted!!
This is a stupid country, and there’s nothing that can be done about that.
It’s really sad that black people seem to forget Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream that people will be judged on the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
The argument that the Republican party is the party of “rich” people is illogical. If it were true, all Hollywood stars and pro athletes would be Republicans. But they aren’t, are they?!
And by the way, I am getting really, really sick of the word “folks.”
Okay, I didn't get it... :)
BTW, I have a story related to your joke:
I have a friend Todd, who is black, and was the head coach of the Grassroots Tennis program in New Haven. I was a volunteer coach for three years. Each year I would get a free week pass to the Pilot Pen tourny in New Haven.
One year we were there, in full tennis gear, practicing and playing on the courts during the tourny. That day the NY Knicks players were going to take a tennis court, cover it with a special surface and give a b-ball demonstration. It rained though so the court was taken up and the practices were moved inside to Yale's Cullman Courts. Todd and I went in to the courts and played with the Jensen brothers and their sister. After we were done we decided to go back to the main grounds.
We crossed the street and came to the entrance of the tourny. The guard looked at me and said, "Do you need a ride back to the players lounge?"
I said, "No, I'll walk."
We walked along the back of the courts and when got to the middle another tourny worker looked at me and said, "Do you need a ride back to the player's lounge?"
Again, I said, "No".
We got to the end of the courts and a guy driving by in a cart slammed on the brakes and asked me, "Need a ride?"
Todd went nuts. He said, "Look at me! I'm wearing tennis clothes, I'm sweaty and carrying a tennis bag. How come you don't ask me if I need a ride?" The sheepishly drove away.
I looked at Todd and said, "Todd, they know there's only black player here at the tourny and they know you're not him." He laughed and we kept on going.
I had some really great memories associated with those times.
Remember a few years ago, when the La Raza types suggested “A Day Without Mexicans”? I propose “A Day Without Whites.”
“Generally speaking, black people think in incredibly racial terms.”
This is exactly the kind of thing that we on the right have to STOP saying about black voters. What we are saying is that black people ONLY vote, or support candidates, based on race. A good example is the idiotic argument John Sunnunu made about General Powell when Powell endorsed Obama, i.e. that Powell was only supporting Obama based on his race.
Just before the election, one of the libtards on TV used this to show that conservatives are “racist”, in that “they don’t think black people can think about the issues for themselves”. I’m sure that helped us a lot with the black vote.
The libtard pointed out that Powell supported George W. Bush, then said sarcastically, “So Powell supported Bush because he’s black?” This is the trap that we on the right keep falling into, the trap of making statements about blacks that seem simple-minded. Sunnunu did not help when he was challenged on lefty news shows either. When a liberal commentator asked Sunnunu if he only supports candidates who are white, Sunnunu replied, “Well, of course not” Then the lefty sprang the trap, saying “Oh, so according to you, white people can think for themselves, but black people can’t.” Sunnunu stuttered for a few seconds, then it was time for commercial. I knew right then, that Obama had just won a few more votes.
LOL; took the words right outta my mouth.
That’s pretty good. I guess he thought they were following him because he’s black. Tennis is a great sport, great workout. I grew up playing in a “league” in San Jose, CA.
