In the Star Wars movie Revenge of the Sith, Natalie Portman's character says this line.

"So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause."

At the time she was watching Emperor Palpatine tell a cheering Senate that he had taken all power away from them to form a Galactic Empire

That is how the USA will end.

“So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause.”

Sorta like chanting “Hope and Change”, like a malfunctioning automaton, huh ?

And that makes me wonder, who would be Jar-jar Binks, Biden?

Pelosi, or would it be someone else in Congress that is a RINO?

Interestingly enough with enough history on HOW to remove an Empire at least we have a few ideas.

I find The Hunger Games and Animal Farm closer to reality. We already see the Hollywood and liberal elite in an unholy alliance. Everyone is equal. But some are more equal than others. The HG colorful capital city crowd is nothing more than an metaphor for political elitism, with two permanent classes.

Bill Whittle had a great Star Wars analogy, Where in the first three parts of the story, English accent speaking elitists lose liberty, and in the last three of the series, typically Americana characters fight against impossible odds to defeat tyranny, starting with the episode “A New Hope”.

Ironic, and very prophetic perhaps.

If it does happen, the end of the US in it’s present form may not necessarily mean “the end”.
