I'm going to turn into a real fatty...
I tend to stay out of this fight because I don't see much value in having it if people are choosing a more secular world view. The fight for "traditional values" should start with tackling why people are choosing not to have faith anymore.
That said, support or opposition to gay marriage is beside the point here. People running a business are entitle to their opinion, and it shouldn't have to agree with your own...
If you don't want them to have your money, that's totally fine! Don't patronize their business, but this boycott and political bullying nonsense is just too much for me.
LOL...I do speak :-)
I felt this piece needed the clarification. I really was just watching this story from afar until I saw that politicians in Boston and Chicago were seeking to block permits on the basis of their political/moral views....then I just had to comment.
What those cities are doing is wrong, and possibly unconstitutional, IMHO.
They really specialize in chicken sandwiches which are best described as "Southern Style." Their regular sandwich is served on a slightly sweet bun and garnished with only a couple of dill pickle slices. It's WAY different from KFC chicken sandwiches, which always seem to have globs of mayo and some wilted lettuce. CFA also has a spicy chicken sandwhich which I'm told is SPICY! And you can get the sandwiches with lettuce & tomato as well. They've also got tenders.
I had the regular sandwich, waffle fries (very good) and a lemonade (fresh squeezed and spectacular).
It's priced about the same as KFC, a bit expensive. However, the place was spotless and the people were really helpful and polite. They made me feel like I was their customer, as opposed to many fast food places where I'm made to feel like I'm bothering them.
I'll be going back to CFA on a regular basis.

I just ate their today. Went out of my way to do so. :-)
I am looking forward to eating at CFA someday.
They just do chicken for sandwiches. They don’t serve chicken like KFC.
To quote Yogi Berra, here in Franklin TN no one goes to CFA - it’s too busy!
