OBAMA’S KENYAN BIRTH RECORDS DISCOVERED IN BRITISH NATIONAL ARCHIVES
The Daily Pen ^ | July 18, 2012 | Dan Crosby

Posted on 07/19/2012 5:28:21 PM PDT by Seizethecarp

It now appears the worst fears of the U.S. Constitution’s framers were well founded as investigators working on behalf of the ongoing investigation into the Constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama have found yet another lead in a growing mountain of evidence within the public records section of the British National Archives indicating the occurrence of at least four vital events registered to the name of Barack Obama, taking place in the British Protectorate of East Africa (Kenya) between 1953 and 1963, including the birth of two sons before 1963.

The record of birth of a second son prior to Kenyan independence is significant because biographical information about Obama’s family indicates Obama Sr. fathered only one other son prior to Obama II’s birth.

The books containing hand written line records of vital events attributed to Obama are contained in Series RG36 of the Family Records section in the Kew branch of the BNA. The hand written line records first discovered in 2009, indicate several events were registered to the name Barack Obama (appears to be handwritten and spelled “Burack” and “Biraq”) beginning in 1953 and include two births recorded in 1958 and 1960, a marriage license registration in 1954 and a birth in 1961. Barack Obama is said to have died in 1982 and had married at least once more in Kenya and had at least one more child in 1968, but no record of these were found in the BNA because, according to the Archives’ desk reference, the events occurred after Kenya achieved independence from British colonial rule in 1963.

To date, Barack Obama II is the only known alleged son of Obama Sr. born after 1960 and before the independence of Kenya became official in 1963.

“Yes, the claims made, that zero was going around telling people he was going to be POTUS, and the story the Russian woman told Tom Fife were preposterous...but Race Bannon being a MARINE iirc and the fact that Chicago communists were traveling to the USSR OFTEN should have given pause to consider the background and origin of these stories. Instead of listening to the message, it was a case of ATTACK THE MESSENGER.”

True, and a key revelation from Race Bannon was that Barry told him he was born in Mombasa! Race Bannon went through his effects to find pictures of Mombasa to take and show the friendly, ambitious Barry.

That account is consistent with the discovery claimed on Daily Pen that there is a record of a male child of BHO Sr. born in Kenya in 1961 in the BNA.

This is yet another example of second degree hearsay. Race Bannon doesn't have first-hand knowledge of the claimed event, and neither did Barry.

As you all have noted, there are anomalies with the series of photos purporting to be of Stanley Ann Dunham, Lolo Soetoro, Young Zero, Babykin, the settee, the chair, in various combinations.

One glaring problem is the same image of the baby appearing in the quartet, the trio, and showing in a different orientation to SAD's face.

Another odd phenomenon is that no one in any of the photos is aware of anyone else in any of the photos.

One might wonder whether some of the persons depicted existed, and/or whether they ever appeared in the poses depicted.

A name was mentioned at 894 and a search shows that is the first time it appears in the thread. Zero has embargoed his documents and his evidence is of questionable provenance, but the name in question clearly appeared in the post indicated for the first time on this thread.

Maraniss is interesting. First in His Class was kind of plain vanilla, considering we're dealing with a couple who exist solely for convenience and ambition, each having the conscience of a psychopath.

With Zero, Maraniss helps by floating the Huge-Headed Zero-In-Love, cranium mooring on the jacket like the Hindenberg at Lakehurst.

Again, we're dealing with a couple which exists for convenience and the advancement of an agenda emanating from a consortium of powerful sponsors.

Zero is currently blasting the drought-stricken heartland with hot air claiming his mother evinced the values of hardworking Americans. It must be an election year.

Right. And no one would be more delighted to find that he was born in a foreign country. But Kenya is nothing but a ruse that fits with his fantasy ID and his fantasy father, if he was born in a foreign country, it’s more likely to be Canada or the UK.
But it suits them that you spend all your energy on chasing a Kenya birth. While that’s the deal, no one is looking anywhere else.
If you get lucky, you’ll find a birth registration for BHO2 in Kenya for the boy born seven months before zero. His father wrote home and told them he had a son in the US, remember? If he wasn’t going to give him up, which he evidently didn’t, one of the family would have arranged for a birth registration for him.
And don’t tell me that wasn’t possible. Jaramoghi Oginga Odinga would have seen to it.

Just sitting down again - read the rest of the Maraniss article. Maraniss is pretending to find some discrepancies in "Dreams" to prove his "objective" cred, but his real purpose was to support the myths in Dreams. Here's another jewel-like quote.

In both the issues of Obama’s birth and of his religion, documents and common sense lead in one direction. Obama’s doubters run the other way: His birth certificates must be fake; his espoused Christianity must be a cover. Another group of right-wing doubters hold on to the notion that Obama is a closet socialist, some sort of Manchurian candidate, an idea that his every move as a pragmatic liberal politician over the past 16 years has utterly disproved. Some others maintain that he was not smart enough... and too inept to write his own memoir, which one particularly obsessed conspiratorialist claims was penned by the former radical Bill Ayers.

This reveals the real reason Maraniss wrote his book - to support the myth!

Oh, and this - man oh man, this guy is a total a-hole and he's using serious psychological manipulation tactics!! Anyone who takes his book as truth is a damned fool!

No, I hold them in contempt for the way they disregard facts and common sense and undermine the role of serious history as they concoct conspiracy theories that portray the president as dangerous, alien and less than American.

And the reason people hate 0bama? Here is the lynch pin:

What drives them? .... And some of it, I believe, arises out of fears of demographic changes in this country, and out of racism.

I rest my case, the author condemns himself.

“And don’t tell me that wasn’t possible. Jaramoghi Oginga Odinga would have seen to it.”

Odinga was not in power yet, as Kenya was still a UK colony with UK in control of vital records. The Daily Pen article just happens to include the procedure for registration of a foreign birth to a UK subject:

quote

Based on procedures defined in Britain’s Births & Deaths Registration Act of 1953, The British Foreign & Commonwealth Office states the following:
“Registering A Birth
If your child is born outside the United Kingdom you can register the birth with the nearest consulate (Local British Foreign & Commonwealth Regional Registrar Office), or with our consular department in London if you’ve returned to the United Kingdom...The standard of birth registration in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Africa and Overseas Territories is similar to the standard of birth registration of the UK.”

end quote

I don't see any provision for a family in Kenya to register a foreign birth in HI as though it were a birth in Kenya based on a mere letter of notification. Kenya was not Hawaii, after all! It looks like a foreign birth to a wife of BHO Sr. would have had to have been either registered “with the nearest consulate” but there is a catch. Under the BNA of 1948 only legitimate children were UK subjects at birth if foreign born and Kenya Colony Marriage Act did not recognize bigamy and there was already a vital record for a marriage in Kenya in 1954 for BHO Sr.

So it would seem that only a legitimate child of the Kenyan wife, or an illegitimate child born on Kenyan soil with BHO Sr. on the BC as father could have triggered the 1961 vital record in the BNA Kew archive in the article.

Maraniss is not black and white pro or against Barry. Maraniss is an historian and he relied on traditional sources, such as state vital records in HI for his research into Barry's birth because being from the left he had no inclination to challenge that. Maraniss didn't get into the HI DOH archive, but he did get an extensive face-to-face interview with Ruth Ndesandjo.

Where he got into trouble with the left and accused of being a traitor was when he found that very little in Dreams could be verified by his traditional historical research methods other than the HI birth records which HI officials "confirmed." Maraniss destroys Dreams over and over and the heads on the left exploded.

So now he has to write an article about how evil “birthers” are who question the HI state birth records he relied on so he can get back on good terms with his Barry-loving book customers.

Remember that Maraniss also skewered Clinton when he wrote “Man from Hope.”

I tread Maraniss like any other source. If portions of his information can be corroborated and fit a credible, coherent narrative, I will lean towards accepting them. The portions of his work that have been debunked or can't be corroborated I reject. It is not black and white, for me at least.

I don't give a fig nor fart for what it looks like to you, JARAMOGHI OGINGA ODINGA was the man who arranged the scholarships for kenyan students to attend the Lumumba University, including one for his own son, whom he named after Castro, it was OGINGA ODINGA who visited Malcom X in Atlanta in 1960. The blacks were so enamoured of OGINGA ODINGA they wrote a song about him.

YOU CAN'T TELL ONE ODINGA FROM ANOTHER.

There's NOTHING Jaramoghi couldn't have done for his Luo friend in Hawaii, and that quite probably included finding a place for his son in the early eighties, at the same university in Moscow he sent his own son Fidel to.

According to Luo tradition, a Ker can not be a politician, so Odinga relinquished his position as king in 1957 and became the political spokesman of the Luo. The same year, he was elected member of the Legislative Council for the Central Nyanza constituency, and in 1948 he joined the Kenya African Union (KAU). In 1960, together with Tom Mboya he joined Kenya African National Union (KANU). When Kenya became a Republic in 1964, he was its first Vice-President.

little jeremiah, you detect and expose Maraniss' phalanx of incensed strawmen:

In both the issues of Obama’s birth and of his religion, documents and common sense lead in one direction. Obama’s doubters run the other way: His birth certificates must be fake; his espoused Christianity must be a cover. Another group of right-wing doubters hold on to the notion that Obama is a closet socialist, some sort of Manchurian candidate, an idea that his every move as a pragmatic liberal politician over the past 16 years has utterly disproved. No, I hold them in contempt for the way they disregard facts and common sense and undermine the role of serious history as they concoct conspiracy theories that portray the president as dangerous, alien and less than American.

What drives them? .... And some of it, I believe, arises out of fears of demographic changes in this country, and out of racism.

In Maraniss' huffing and puffing, anyone questioning the emperor is driven by stupidity and prejudice.

It's a prissy pose but ridiculous: Maraniss can't write objectively while engaged in auto-colonoscopy.

Getting past his puffery, the truth behind Maraniss' protesting too much is:

It's not that "his birth certificates must be fake"--it's that they are forged.

"Closet socialist"?--no, David, with "spread the wealth around," "you didn't build that," and extralegal exercise of authoritarian power the man is beyond socialist.

Manchurian Candidate or pragmatic liberal politician--no one deems him either--another Maranissianic false choice--Zero is a radical terminator relentless in his destruction of the Christian Capitalist Republic.

And, no, he's not "too inept to write his own memoir"--Bill Ayers wrote it for his own reasons, the same as the reasons he chose to get behind the Zero project--for there is zero doubt Ayers wrote Dreams.

(The Fairy Tale "girlfriend" was at Ayers' school. Ayers' wife provided the beard for Der Alinskenfuehrer. Drones do it for the Queen.)

Maraniss blushes behind his fan, swooning with the vapors because the great unwashed deem his darling "dangerous, alien, and un-American"--hey, genius, the man has never disappointed.

And Maraniss' final desperate swing of his purse accompanies his shriek the Neanderthals fear demographic change, being racists.

Classy.

Zero has hidden the truth of his whereabouts, his past performance, but we see clearly the future results:

His "fundamental change" is sharia, Marxism, gay agenda, and the blue pill.

We simply differ in our approach; it's policy.

Our priorities are less setting fire to the nation and laughing as the Kenyan Christians burn in their church, than rolling back the historic abuse of power and destruction of the fiscal viability of the city on the hill.

Maraniss Bio Deepens Obama Birth Mystery
By Jack Cashill
http://www.americanthinker.com/
June 22, 2012

David Maraniss has no use for “birthers.” In a recent interview, he dismissed their beliefs as “preposterous” and wonders why they cling to them, since “every fact and document leads in another direction.”

Yet the one core belief that has united the birther community — if there be such a thing — is that Obama dissembled when he talked at both the 2004 and 2008 Democratic Conventions about his parents’ “improbable love” and “abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation.”

Birthers have known for years that there was no Obama family, that the couple never lived together, that Obama campaigned on a lie, and that the major media covered for him every step of the way.
This, ironically, Maraniss confirms in Barack Obama: The Story, a book that has to be parsed as carefully as the Talmud or Finnegan’s Wake to be made sense of. Despite his slam on birthers, the facts herein will come as more of a shock to the Obama faithful than to those who have questioned the official birth narrative.

“In the college life of Barack Obama [Senior] in 1961 and 1962,” writes Maraniss, “as recounted by his friends and acquaintances in Honolulu, there was no Ann; there was no baby.” Although Maraniss talked to many of Obama Sr.’s friends, none of the credible ones ever so much as saw him with Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham.

One Obama friend, a Cambodian named Kiri Tith, knew the senior Obama “very well.” He had also met Ann through a different channel. “But he had no idea,” writes Maraniss, “that Ann knew Obama, let alone got hapai (pregnant) by him, married him, and had a son with him.”

Having established the facts, Maraniss turns protective. He refuses to explore the implications of his own reporting. The most consequential is that Obama grounded his 2008 campaign — his very persona, for that matter — on a family story that was pure fraud. Lyndon Johnson’s masterful biographer, Robert Caro, would never let his subject walk away from such a lie unscathed.

The casual reader of the Maraniss book is left with the impression that Ann and Obama had a one-night stand that they both regretted, but that they consented to marriage because that is what people did back in 1961. The more informed reader wonders whether Barack Obama, Sr. was fronting for the real father, the best candidate being Obama’s future mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. Maraniss opens the door on both possibilities but fails to even peek through.

As to the presumed February 1961 wedding, the usually thorough Maraniss offers no detail at all. His endnotes say only this: “Marriage facts recorded in divorce records.” To be sure, Ann and Obama claimed a wedding. It suited both their purposes: Obama to extend his visa, and Dunham to legitimize her baby with a black husband.

As to the divorce, Dunham at the time was desperately trying to keep her future husband Lolo Soetoro in the country. The INS believed her to be married to Obama. Even if she were not married, a divorce would have been useful to clear the way for a marriage to Soetoro. Maraniss explains none of this.

Like all other mainstream biographers of the Obama family, Maraniss tells us not a single word about Ann’s life in the six months between the February wedding and Obama’s August 1961 birth. Given the controversy surrounding Obama’s place of birth, Maraniss should have commented on a void of this duration, and he knows it.

Later, when discussing Obama’s murky New York years, he opines, “Nothing is so tempting for conspiracy theorists as what appears to be a hole in a life.” Maraniss attempts to flesh out the New York years. He makes no effort to fill this critical hole in Ann’s life.

On the subject of the birth, the usually voluble Maraniss is as tight-lipped as he is on the wedding. He reports that Obama was born at 7:24 in the evening of August 4, 1961 at Kapi’olani Hospital. As reference, he cites “State of Hawaii Certificate of Live Birth,” presumably the unverified document posted online last April.

In the way of confirmation, Maraniss offers only one story — an elaborate one that he takes two pages to tell. It comes down to this: a woman is having lunch shortly after Obama’s birth with an OB/GYN, who tells her, “Stanley had a baby. Now that’s something to write home about.”

The woman, Barbara Czurles-Nelson, has been telling this story for several years. Maraniss adds the clarification that the doctor in question was not the one who delivered the baby, as first reported, but someone who had heard the “Stanley” anecdote on the grapevine.

One serious flaw in Maraniss’s reporting is that he gives too much credence to obviously inflated memories. A glaring example, one that has been cited often as fact, is of the paper Obama allegedly wrote as a schoolboy in Indonesia in which he said, “Someday I want to be president.”

Maraniss quotes the entire, seemingly impressive paper, both in English and in the Indonesian language, Bahasa. He then adds, “The paper no longer exists, though [the teacher’s] memory is precise and there is no reason not to trust it.” No, David, there is every reason not to trust it.

Czurles-Nelson also remembers her story much too well. In the gratuitously lengthy account of the “Stanley” anecdote, the reader learns, for instance, that 50 years earlier, Czurles-Nelson and the doctor were sitting “near the lunch buffet.” This is the kind of confirming detail Maraniss likes to provide.

All the stranger, then, is his failure to provide a single shred of information regarding the circumstances surrounding Obama’s birth. The reader has no idea who took Ann to the hospital, who delivered her baby, who took her home, or even where “home” was.

Maraniss hints at where home was not — namely, the residence her parents shared with the Pratt family at 6085 Kalanianole Highway, the address listed on the birth certificate. As Maraniss relates, the Pratt daughter, then an adolescent, “has no memory of the Dunhams’ daughter bringing an infant home.” He adds, “[Ann] and Obama and the infant never lived [at 6085 Kalanianole].”

Indeed, the young family never lived together, and this Maraniss concedes. “Within a month of the day Barry came home from the hospital,” he writes, “he and his mother were long gone from Honolulu, back on the mainland ... .” They had decamped for Seattle, where they would live for the next year.

Maraniss interviewed not a single person who saw the newborn in Hawaii. It is likely that Obama Sr. never saw young Barry. Barry Obama’s first sighting was in Seattle. Maraniss tells us nothing about how Ann and the baby got there.

In the blogosphere, these revelations do not comes as news. In the mainstream media, however, they must stun. In their respective biographies of Obama and his family, all published 2010 or later, the New Yorker’s David Remnick, the Boston Globe’s Sally Jacobs, and the New York Times’s Janny Scott and Jodi Kantor each consciously skirted the facts to sustain the illusion of a functioning Obama family. More troubling, conservative writer Dinesh D’Souza did the same in his disingenuous 2010 bestseller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage.

As recently as Father’s Day 2012, Obama was telling America’s schoolchildren that his father “left when I was two years old.” The media let him get away with it. Is it any wonder that birthers don’t take their criticisms too seriously?

Maraniss debunks this fraudulent birth narrative much too quietly. Perhaps he feels guilty about contributing to it himself. He wrote a 10,000-word Obama bio for the Washington Post in August 2008, and he made a total botch out of the birth narrative. Had he gotten the story straight then, he might have turned the election.

On the record, which would be the FOIA INS docs, there was only one woman impregnated by BHO Sr. in 1961 and that was Stanley Ann Dunham. No other woman has been identified on any record or in any contemporaneous witness account as having been a wife or impregnated by BHO Sr. in HI in 1961.

On the record in 1961, there is no baby born in Kenya currently identified as having been being born to Kezia. No other woman in the US or Kenya has claimed to have delivered a son fathered by BHO Sr. in 1961, but the most likely baby recorded as having been born and registered in Kenya in the Daily Pen article is Stanley Ann's baby.

In the letters between Mboya and BHO Sr. there is no mention to Mboya, presumably close to Odinga who was allied with Mboya at the time, of a request for help to register a foreign HI birth in Kenya in 1961, or even any mention of BHO Sr. fathering a baby in 1961 with any "wife" in HI. There is only a request that Mboya help support his wife in Kenya, who was Kezia.

There is no evidence on the record that Odinga or any Kenyan gave any help to Roman Obama of Equitorial Ginea at any time.

“In the college life of Barack Obama [Senior] in 1961 and 1962,” writes Maraniss, “as recounted by his friends and acquaintances in Honolulu, there was no Ann; there was no baby.”

This is where Maraniss destroys Obama’s seminal “American” narrative that was loaded into the teleprompter for the 2004 Dem Convention speech. This is the speech describing the “improbable love” between his parents and their beliefs abour America that caused the left and many independents to swoon.

So while Maraniss can be faulted for giving “full faith and credit” to what HI DOH says is in its archive, but outside of that nothing of Barry's biography in HI was sacred for Maraniss. To the Dems it is all sacred so Maraniss has been purged on the left. Kill the messenger, they cry!
