I think everyone is missing a salient point in this discussion; one that has done untold damage to America over the last 3.5 -5 years, and holds dire consequense for its future.
The point is that in the liberal world, obama is 100% right. Romney looks as the economy from a capitalist standpoint, for the most part, and especially relative to the liberal POV. It is basically an apolitical approach; get the government out of the way of small business and investment.
In obama’s world that is exactly 180 degrees out of phase. Liberals see the economy as something that will give them more and more political control. Whether it’s punitive taxation, enslavement to the state through welfare programs, destroying unsanctioned industry through regulation, etc; it is ALL part of the economic plan of control Thus Romney is NOT suited to look at the economy as a whole, becasue he is not a liberal.
Just my 2 cents.
So both sides think of themselves as the saner half. Until reality catches up with them, and smack them right in the chop.
No matter what they (or we) think, reality is a b!tch.
