Statement: "Its supposed to be a secret ballot, but how can it be if voters must reveal their identities? Hoyer wrote."
Response: What an idiot! People must identify themselves when they sign in at the polling place-at least in our state. I enter the polling place. Go to the appropriate place table and announce my name. The lady then has me sign by my name and address. Then I am given a ballot and directed to a booth.

I voted in 6 states for a total of 38 votes last time, and they better not do anything to stop the gubmint programs that make my house and caddie payments, ummm, I mean feed my 65 starving children, half of whom are disabled ya know.

Me too, but after the first line, I scrolled back up to see that it is satire, but in reality, these Marxist really would go for this type of foolishness.

Hoyre has also asked that all TSA/airport checkpoints cease checking for valid photo ID's, stating "What, the flying public can't be trusted to just tell the screeners who they are?" Similar requests are being made for check cashing and car rental services./sarc

As usual, your satire is right on. As far as I know, the Dems managed to find a dozen or so nuns at a convent in Ohio that were off the grid. That was it. All others in this country either have the means to get ID, or have ID. The idea that some 80 year old inner city black grandmother is off the grid is INSANE. She’ll either need ID to access Medicare (or even see a doctor), or she’ll need ID to access Social Security (or Medicaid, or welfare).
The argument is a non-starter for rational people.

For those without IDs have each state set up stations where folks can be branded on their arms with a unique number. This would be done for free of course and only hurts for a day or two. Your ID or your branded arm will get you into the voting booth.
If you have neither, you don’t get to vote. ... Now, who wants to get themselves an ID... hmmm?
Can’t wait for tonight’s debate between Newt and Herman!

....
The risk that unscrupulous persons might defraud Hoyers proposed system by voting multiple times was deemed inconsequentially small by Hoyer. The chances of any single vote determining the outcome is tiny, Hoyer pointed out. From a logical perspective, it doesnt make sense to vote even once, much less repeatedly. In my opinion, the fear of multiple votes from a single person is way overblown. ...There is some truth to that. Consider this. In 2008, I didn't get to the polls until late, minutes before closing. In KY, McCain had a landslide and the electorate, therefore my vote didn't matter. I didn't vote for him anyway...
... And no, Not for BHO either...

Even though it’s satire, I’m still ashamed to say Steny Hoyer is my congressman.
