Limbaugh says America is over go home put your pitchforks away and BOHICA: No thanks I’ll fight on
coachisright.com ^ | August 2, 2011 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

The United States of America is over! I just heard it from Rush Limbaugh! He knows everything so he can’t be wrong can he? I’m sure I missed the announcement that Limbaugh is moving out of America as he always implied he would; remember “I’ll tell you when it is time to panic.”

I can only conclude Rush is right. Isn’t he? I mean because Rush and a seemingly endless parade of conservative “thinkers” have said so, I must now put my pitchfork away because there is no use in trying. Rush told me so. He’s not wrong, right?

By Limbaugh’s thinking the few of us who want to fight should give up and stay home next year. That will give us 300 Democrats in Congress and 80 seats in the Senate so Franklin Delano Obama to finish us off. But giving up is all that Rush can say so that’s all we need to know.

I know I’m giving not up even though Rush said I should. YES we got kicked in the ash by this deal, but I really don’t give a damn what Limbaugh or anyone else says about what the future of my country will be. It will be up to me and other TEA partiers to save America and that is what we will do.

Rush might think we will accept “It can’t be fixed because it is in the budget from last year and the year before that and so on,” but he is very wrong, very wrong indeed!

Limbaugh can sit in a mud puddle sucking up dirty water, feeling sorry for himself and, but I’ll keep fighting. I have a family to protect and a nation to preserve so I don’t have the luxury of self-pity…..

I'm not ignorant of history at all, but I DO know that continual cynicism and anger isn't good for one's constitution. I much prefer to be optimistic, but at the same time work for what I want to eventually happen.

Instead of just screaming how awful the GOP is, all the time, I think it's much more productive to find conservatives who are running for Congress who deserve assistance in getting there. In case you didn't notice, the MSM has been trying to split the Republican party, and Tea Partiers who partake in the pig-pile on Congress for not solving this intractable problem RIGHT NOW, are playing into the media's hands.

As I said before. It took a LONG time to get to this point, it will be a long time to change it, but to do THAT, we need to elect more conservatives to Congress. With the economy the way it is, we should be able to do just that, in 2012.

“Half of the people on this site are completely nuts...”

True, but that is a smaller percentage of people that are nuts in most groups! :)

Don't you dare put words in Rush's mouth. He has never said that and won't say that. I have no problem with you not liking Rush, but don't make things up.

If true, point me to the quote where he said that...I know you won't find it.

Something else to consider.

One thing that is completely apparent now is that there is a leftist presence in this country which is very, very large, very, very active...and very, very far left. They were emboldened by Obama, and while they are now turning on him, he really helped give them hope that their agenda would govern everything.

Let’s just pretend that the 2012 elections are as good or better than 2010 and some 60 plus D’s are ousted from teh House, Obama loses, etc.

Let’s assume that the Tea Party really in fact starts to get some traction.

Let’s assume Obamacare is repealed.

In light of the rhetoric, fanatacism, hate, and vitriol we have seen from the left the past two weeks, I think that there will be violence in the major cities if Obamacare is repealed and if the Tea Party starts to make ACTUAL CUTS to the budget.

I have never thought that before, that a single legislative act would result in riots. But I think we are at that point.

Not sure what comes after that, but a peaceful separation and a gradual, slow and steady but peaceful dismantling of the union into something like the EU 20 years ago would be one way to try to curb the coming civil unrest.

Reading Rush's transcript is like reading the lyrics on sheet music. Or, worse yet trying to sing it yourself. What makes most of Rush's more salient points is Rush. I can hum along... but, that would be amusing at best.

It sounds like I worship at the alter of ElRushbo. No. I just appreciate; Talent on Loan from God.

look at my post 84. I think we are only a few steps away from civil unrest and real violence.

Not MASSIVE violence, but, noticeable.

Here come the Republican water carriers! Scurrying out to curry favor with the Republicans! Just stick your head firmly back in some, any Republican’s behind before you catch a cold. I used to think that the democrats were the worst. That was before I realized that Republicans are party first, last and only scum just like the democrats. If you do not like what I have said, tough cookie. It is LOOOOOOOOONG past time to begin to speak the truth. FYI, I am not interested in a debate. You run your mouth, I run mine. Now run along and put your knee pads on as John McCain wants to see you.

A lot of FReepers seem to think nothing happens if it isn’t posted on FR. There has been a lot of spending cutting going on completely unconnected to this debt limit bill but I’m guessing less than 50% of FReepers are unaware of spending cuts their own congressman has gotten.

Violence will happen from the left/entitlement class/underclass/whatver you want to call them no matter what. It’s already happening more. Elections won’t stop this train going off the cliff.

It is not just individuals on the take.

Today, I got a surprise visit from an old friend. She works as a contractor for a large fast food corporation. In that capacity, she has to sit in on meetings where the nitty-gritty of their financial situation is discussed candidly. She has to grit her teeth and keep quiet as this client represents the majority of her income. The fast food conglomerate is delighted that the SNAP cards can be accepted at their stores. It means the difference between staying in business and not.

She is based in the NE and has many friends facing foreclosure. People looking for work are just getting the message that they need to forget about titles and perks and take any job that results in any income. These are mid-30-to-40-something people who have been CEOs, VPs, and top management. She knows too many people involved in short sales or foreclosures. The past year, crime has increased in her formerly nice neighborhood. Her boyfriend has 165 apartment units. He is lucky to get full rent, if any, from his tenants. She went on and on.

She travels a lot for work and also told me of places in Washington State and Oregon with large encampments of homeless/jobless. While the Skid Rows in the cities are black and Hispanic, the rural encampments are mostly white. She said that some places the municipalities are hauling in porta potties and generally trying to make sure things stay hygienic. There is nothing else they can do, because the situation is large and enduring.

She and her friends likely all voted for zerO. We have not discussed politics at all in the past 3 years, because I just am not up to having an argument with her. I have known her most of her life and value her as a person. But today, I was honest about my political views and our personal financial situation and she was in agreement with everything I said. The thing is, I am unsure if these young people will vote GOP and I can’t really blame them. They think that if the government benefits and employment are withdrawn or cut, things will totally collapse and quickly. So, I will guess they won’t vote at all or will reluctantly vote donk.

Just adding to your catalog of why we are over as America the way we all knew it. I am 15 years older than you and also grateful for what I experienced before 2008.

NO ONE matches Perry in conservative accomplishment. He drags TEXAS around as Exhibit A, for the win.

And a "couple of bloopers"? Oh gosh. Perry is a RINO. He talks conservative and his book reads conservative but the Gardasil thing alone creeps me out when it comes to Perry. That, plus the TTC, light on the border, cuddling hispanic groups, not pushing sanctuary cities and TSA anti-groping and much more puts Perry in the TINO part of the ledger for me. Also because I personally know his biggest money supporter, lobbyists that have dealt with Perry and others such that I have some insight in to Perry.

Perry never expected to be govenor this long. But time and again he was the douche running against a turd sandwich. Hutchinson? Bill White? Kinky? LOL! Because of this and because he really has few skills outside of politics Perry was looking for his mal ticket after he left office. In my view that is why he pushed the TTC and got in to bed with Merck, among others. It is no secret Rick Perry is in it for the money.

With all that said above if it did happen to come down to Rick Perry vs Barack Obama I will not only crawl through glass for him I'll crawl through fire to once again hold my nose for the RINO.

The last time conservative Republicans controlled the three branches of Government with a substantial majority Coolidge was President. “ <<<<

Excuse my rabbit trail here...
The last time conservative Republicans controlled the three branches of government in TEXAS was....er, NOW, since Rick Perry. Someone tell me where else that’s true? Someone tell me how many state’s, even with conservative governor’s, best TEXAS in jobs? Exhibit A is TEXAS, under Rick Perry.

Rush is right. Perry is a conservative. Like no other.

Gee, it was only a simple majority of the house, senate and the presidency. EXCUSE, EXCUSE, EXCUSE. No party could be expected to act like principalled conservatives with such a specious hold on the federal government. What a suck up you are. I mean Wow! I certainly hope that you are on the republican payroll. If not, with suck up skills such as yours, you should be!

This is Hysteria Central.

Just like the football site I frequent as a Bears fan. It gets pretty hard to take the constant state of panic.

But I love both sites.

I would not bet on any bDs being ousted. The Democrat battle cry is going to be, “The Reepublicans want to take away your Social Security”. “The Republiccans want to take away your health care”,and last but not least,”The Republicans want to take away your unemployment and foodstamps” by then, 2012, probably twice as many will be getting government assistance than they are now. Add them to obama and the Democrat’s base. not only that, the 012 campaign will be very nasty and in the big cities, probably violent to our side. While their side has not been bashful about resorting to violence, our side has been equally adroit in turning the other cheek.
