Limbaugh says America is over go home put your pitchforks away and BOHICA: No thanks I’ll fight on
coachisright.com ^ | August 2, 2011 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

The United States of America is over! I just heard it from Rush Limbaugh! He knows everything so he can’t be wrong can he? I’m sure I missed the announcement that Limbaugh is moving out of America as he always implied he would; remember “I’ll tell you when it is time to panic.”

I can only conclude Rush is right. Isn’t he? I mean because Rush and a seemingly endless parade of conservative “thinkers” have said so, I must now put my pitchfork away because there is no use in trying. Rush told me so. He’s not wrong, right?

By Limbaugh’s thinking the few of us who want to fight should give up and stay home next year. That will give us 300 Democrats in Congress and 80 seats in the Senate so Franklin Delano Obama to finish us off. But giving up is all that Rush can say so that’s all we need to know.

I know I’m giving not up even though Rush said I should. YES we got kicked in the ash by this deal, but I really don’t give a damn what Limbaugh or anyone else says about what the future of my country will be. It will be up to me and other TEA partiers to save America and that is what we will do.

Rush might think we will accept “It can’t be fixed because it is in the budget from last year and the year before that and so on,” but he is very wrong, very wrong indeed!

Limbaugh can sit in a mud puddle sucking up dirty water, feeling sorry for himself and, but I’ll keep fighting. I have a family to protect and a nation to preserve so I don’t have the luxury of self-pity…..

"What is happening is much like someone condemning the 300 because they did not destroy the entire Persian army."

That's not a bad analogy.

>> “They better all start doing some serious cutting independent of this debt ceiling bill.” <<

.
Feckless in view of where the money is really going: Interest on the treasury bonds.

We have to just cancell the bonds and pay them. Print the cash to pay the bonds; cash doesn’t pay interest. This will not have any inflationary consequences because the bonds are a part of the money supply anyway, and it will be a simple exchange. This tactic is known as “monitizing debt” but in reality the bonds were what caused the monitization when they were issued, and therin lies the inflation; i.e. it is in the past.

Obama’s friends in the Socialist run banks will scream bloody murder, but they are the thieves that created the problem over the last 100 years anyway; screw them.

Then we start cutting so that no more borrowing is necessary.

"I heard Rush, and this article is no representation of what he said."

These type of articles will appear quite frequently during this campaign season.....and if you heard Obama earlier today, he's doing what does best....campaign.

Soros, with his millions and Obama with his "newly minted" trillions will have trolls on every conservative site in the universe.

Am getting tired of the folks who want to throw over one of their elected officials because of one or two votes that they don't like. None of this mess is going to get fixed with one, two, or even three budget deals. Just like losing weight in middle age. It probably took 30 years to put the weight on, it will take some time to get it off so that it STAYS off!

Instead of getting our knickers in a twist and voting out folks who just got elected the last time, because of one or two votes you don't like, give them a chance to get some legislation that THEY helped craft, so they CAN vote for something that will be useful. Work hard to get them re-elected, and bring another couple of Tea Party folks along in other districts. We need larger numbers in BOTH houses, but especially in the Senate. The Tea Party candidates need to be of good quality, as well, so they won't spend all their time talking about pecadilloes or stupid decisions in their pasts, and not be able to get out their messages of smaller government and economic growth.

We really need to start thinking strategically, long-term, and plan to do things incrementally. That's how the libs got THEIR programs in place. They didn't try to do it all at once; they couldn't have gotten them approved, had they done that. They had patience, and they stuck together. They didn't scream and yell about ideological purity, and fight publicly against their own. That's not to say that we shouldn't go up against the GOP Establishment, but we don't need to feed the MSM's delight in their attempts to split Republicans so that even the Independents won't consider voting for the Repub. candidate in 2012. Don't play into their hands!

While I love the guy that does not change the truth of what you are saying. When Rush is on the money he is little short of brilliant. No one can treat a serious subject as wittily as he or get to the bottom of things as incisively. He is like a political surgeon during those times.

But he makes a lot of mistakes, too. He is only human.

What has bothered me of late is his use of analogies/arguments which he MUST know are inappropriate and deceptive. That kind of dishonesty I expect from a Democrat, not from Rush.

It isn't up to Rush to formulate strategy for the GOP. And it isn't like he hasn't put his ideas out there, not that the GOP ever actually does anything with those suggestions.

What I want is a strategy to victory, not another armchair general telling me how we lost. I get plenty of that here on FR. “ <<<<

Enter Rick Perry. That’s exactly what makes Rick, well, Rick. Energy, and positive, door kicking strategy. No endless platitudes, or repititious whining while wrapped in the flag. It will be fun again. He has been a master at shaping a conservative government already. It’s called wielding power.

You know what’s bizarre? The left wing websites are going bonkers today. They hate Obama nearly as much as freepers. They talk about how he was completely dazzled and befuddled by the GOP and how he acquiesced to the Tea Party.

We live in very, very strange times.

I have to wonder, though. If the left is this ticked off, then maybe it wasn’t as bad as it “could” have been....that’s putting the bar pretty low, for sure. But still....

"I might take the writer a little more seriously with his whiney `And Rush is always right!` line if he didn`t call himself `coach is right.`"

Exactly.

Nondescript, mediocre nobodies have always found that they can get noticed and applauded if they "Bash Rush". Nothing is lower than to see someone attempting to advance themselves at the expense of someone else. Pathetic tactic.

Cancelling bonds and paying them off when they are not callable is a violation of contract as serious as an outright default. It would have enormous negative ramifications on banks, insurance companies and private investors.

It would also be enormously inflationary as bonds are not part of the most commonly used definition of the money supply. They are not cash or checks and do not have the liquidity of either.

Our problem was not created by the banks or the government but by the People voting crooks, cranks and humbugs into office. As long as the People can be bought off nothing will change.

So many on this site seem to believe that Limbaugh is the sole repository of knowledge and wisdom.

Operation Chaos was so successful.

rant

Half of the people on this site are completely nuts. That certain people can claim to be more intelligent than others, yet make idiotic politically deaf statements and have zero optimism is beyond me. The fact that some seem to be nothing more than bandwagon jumpers, not even knowing what they are talking about is beyond me as well. The Republicans could have a super majority of both houses of congress and a President (all the most conservative of conservative) and some here WOULD STILL NOT BE HAPPY.

Yeah. Rick Perry is going to be a conservative cut from the mold of the Bush family. Uh huh. Sorry, I have been lied to too many times to believe this horse-pucky. Don’t get me wrong, I believe that Texas is about the last, best hope for this country. My problem is that I fell for the last Texas governor who ran for President and I will not be fooled again.

‘They were such dedicated Constitutionalists and Conservatives the last time these closet scum-bags controlled the three branches of government’

The last time conservative Republicans controlled the three branches of Government with a substantial majority Coolidge was President. The last time they controlled it with a super majority McKinley was President. Get a grip.
