In our family, we discussed the financial responsibility of taking the risk of bringing a child into the world, and what privileges of young adulthood and education would be sacrificed if such a thing happened.

We talked about the prevalence of STDs, and how much more deadly their rapid mutations have become as a result of the so-called Sexual Revolution.

And this was in addition to talking about the Divine Design for marriage and family.

You can’t control today’s young people; and I’m not sure how much of it sunk in. But as insurance (or assurance), I also pray regularly for a good outcome for the next generation and any future grandchildren.

when I was a college student, I fooled around a little bit but I would not be comfortable to have my gf over at my parents house or fool with her while they are there.

Even married couples who are respectful won't have sex in their parents' houses unless the rooms are soundproof.

Liberal Lie #1: If you just let someone have his/her way, it will be peaceful and okay.

The big problem with this is that it absolutely won’t. I wonder who will just sit around and consider the fact that some evolved STDs are a real risk and problem right now, not to mention the chance that pregnancy without marriage still can occur, and still does, that’s a price tag there.

But then again, sounds like the author wants the abortions and STD infections to keep on going, keeping the agenda well-funded.

I personally would not get laid in my parents’ house, especially if my spouse and I had our own to live in and do that anyways. Why some parent should just not worry about why some unmarried kid does some things in one’s house is a little beyond me, but what is not beyond me is the fact that they aren’t a functional family not to care about it.

I wish my sister and her husband, when they first married, had heeded that advice. Her bedroom was next to mine and they stayed in our parents’ home when visiting. It got so loud at times.

Hah! But then again, there’s music’s “Dead at 27” crowd, recently joined by Amy Winehouse.
