Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) tells FOX News why President Obama can't come to the debt meetings between Democrats and Republicans: "The president has much more to do with his time, and that's why you have a Vice President."

WASHINGTON, June 23 (UPI) — U.S. President Obama meets with House Democratic leadership then travels to New York to meet with returning troops, the White House said.
The daily schedule indicates Obama will:
— Meet, along with Vice President Joe Biden, members of the House Democratic leadership to discuss progress being made on deficit reduction in bipartisan meetings led by Biden.
— Travel to Fort Drum, N.Y., to meet with soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division, many of whom have just returned from Afghanistan.
— Meet with Gold Star families.
— Travel to New York, where he will speak at three Democratic National Committee events.
Yes, meeting with military families is important. HOWEVER, it could wait. The debit crisis should have top priority.
Btw, is that meeting where he said he gave a medal to a live soldier - who was dead??
Obama is an idiot..but I wonder who inserted that info into his speech.

Maybe it was best left untouched. A simple stark comment as that should not be clouded by explanation. It should stand as glaring example of Obama’s total arrogant detachment from the economic plight of the Nation and his responsibilities as President.
I’m glad he’s “too busy”. Let him play golf, eat arugula etc. Everything liberty and freedom based that he touches, he breaks. Intentionally.

Republicans hate meeting with Biden because they have to say everything to him twice.
He said a few days back he has things ‘to do’ that he is going to achieve in the rest of his term.
