BOSTON - Barack Obama's aunt, Zeituni Onyango, says Donald Trump disrespected her family by questioning the president's birthplace.

Trump quoted Obama's grandmother when she claimed to have witnessed Barack Obama's birth in Kenya, and Onyango says that is not true.....

Second, if you think you are privy to all the information that he has, you’re fooling yourself.

Third, your very use of terminology is consciously designed to make him and anyone discussing narratives that veer away from Dreams look like nuts. You are using psychological methods, don’t think people don’t recognize these techniques.

Poor, poor Abercrombie. He probably saw ANNE/USA with the Kenyan, with or without a baby, and STILL thinks he saw Stanley Ann Dunham. Pity he can’t recall WHEN that was...

...and five years later, he sees zero playing with a baseball bat and thinks he’s looking at the same child.

When Evans spoke to Abercrombie on January 19, Abercrombie reportedly told him that he searched the relevant Hawaii hospitals using his powers as governor, and concluded, according to Evans, “There is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii.” After Abercrombie made such a fuss about finding the birth certificate, Evans concluded of his friend that he has “got some egg in the face.”

Curiously too, when Evans asked Abercrombie when he first encountered the young Barack Obama, Abercrombie reportedly said, “I remember him playing in a T-Ball league,” when he was roughly five or six years old.

...Also, I don't recall documentation or verification of her fall 1961 U of H attendance, do you have a link or quote or anything? I remember the supposed meeting with Obama Sr in Russian class but also IIRC there has never been any independent verification of that.

Supplied by the U of HI. 'Dates of Attendance' shows FALL 1960. There has never been a transcript. But as 'everyone knows' Stanley Ann Dunham 'married' the kenyan, IT MUST HAVE BEEN SAD, right?

The fact that these dates just might be an amalgum of the records of ANN S OBAMA shown in the Polk directory at the birth announcement address...and of Stanley Ann Dunham's attendance YEARS LATER hasn't crossed anyone's mind, has it?

Currently parents toilet train kids a lot later than they did a couple of generations ago, just an observation.

It may be parents toilet train children later now vs. a couple of generations ago....but what's "a lot later"? Toilet training a child after 2, 2 and 1/2 years? Beginning the training at an earlier age, yet they remain in diapers during the training at 2, 2 and 1/2?

I don't think having a child in diapers at 2 to 2 1/2 years is anywhere out of the realm of possibilities in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90, 2000's or anytime.

If I trust any memory of Mary, it will be the diaper phase. That's an event/phase that she is more likely to remember versus her daughter's age of when that occurred, some 45 years later. It's not very helpful as far as defining a specific time that she babysat obama, but it is what it is.

You are definitely right about reporters. They make things up to support their views all the time. When I was in college, there was a small puff piece written up about me. I never said any of the things the reporter said I said. He wrote what he wanted to make his point.

I had kids in the early 70s and did a lot of babysitting through my teen years and later. A child still in diapers at two and over was considered laziness by the parents at that time, IMO. A child in diapers at 2 1/2 would have been very unusual.

It’s certainly not a big deal, but remember in those days it was all cloth diapers, no throw aways.

I am wondering about something. The article posted has Obama Sr stating that he hasn't been back to Kenya for seven years, in 1962. Both of you are discounting this, saying that the reporter made an error. It would be interesting to know if the newspaper did one of those “oops we made an error” notice in the next few days, as newspapers often do.

I am sure that Obama Sr kept that article, people usually do keep articles about themselves when they are not public figures who have such articles written about them all the time. Also, many other people in HI knew 0bama Sr at that time and surely someone or more than one person would have noticed if the paper had made a huge mistake in the number of years Obama had been away from Kenya.

Also, if you consider that number wrong because it doesn't fit in with the Dreams timeline, maybe the Dreams timeline is the wrong one, and just maybe the paper quoted Obama accurately.

It would have to be verified with other contemporaneous evidence.

LOL, I just realized that Fred. I was originally responding to Greenperson who referred to two "diaperable babies in post 577. After rereading what I could find from Mary, there is nothing in there about diapers. This whole conversation (mine, that is), is pointless. I still stand by the possible faulty memory of 45 years ago and her daughter being 18 months vs, 26 months.....who knows? That's why I wondered about the diapers.....at least it might have been an event/phase Mary might have remembered better.....but, there was nothing about DIAPERS in her interview.

I don't rely on Dreams at all and I have repeatedly suggested to certain persons who have been quoting from dreams and taking timelines and framing from Dreams (but at the same time denouncing those who supposedly do) that it is unwise.

Stanley Ann being in Seattle WA in 1961 is not in Dreams and shows Dreams is a fraudulent account as to any relationship between Sr. and SADO as well as to timeline.

Here is an account of BHO Sr.’s life in Kenya from 1955 to 1959 when he left for Hawii from an eyewitness, his first wife Kezia, with many details NOT in Dreams:

Way back...I posted images from the Seattle chat club, that shows how the entire ‘Mary-baby-sat’ eposide started. It was a set-up started by an anonymous poster named LIEF - to introduce the discovery of the ANNA OBAMA listing that Charlette LeFevre had found in the Seattle directory. The story just grew from there. They contacted Mary in Alaska, and Mary said she baby-sat for ANNA.
When her daughter, who was born in July 1959, was 18 months old.
And everything that came after was nothing but a result of panic at the discovery of ANNA - who wasn’t meant to be found.

Up until then, the script/blueprint was the Susan Blake interview...which has been reduced down to almost nothing. Susan Blake made the comment in the original that Stanley Ann Dunham ALWAYS used the name STANLEY...so Susan knew nothing about ANN/ANNE OR ANNA.

As far as the following comments in your post to ME,

Mary is guessing to the best of her ability when she babysat obama based on her memory of her daughter's age at the time. She never indicates when she babysat....fall, spring, summer, whatever. The only relevant information given is that she likely DID babysit obama for a period of time (maybe 2 months) while Stanley Ann was in Seattle.

Obama Senior left for the United States in 1959 for further studies during the famous airlifts organised by the late Planning Minister Tom Mboya.

“I remember escorting him to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, then known as Embakasi airport,” she says.

“He asked me to take care of our only child then, Malik Abongo, who was six years old. I was pregnant with our second child — Rita Auma.”

...The only relevant information given is that she likely DID babysit obama for a period of time (maybe 2 months) while Stanley Ann was in Seattle.

And there's your problem. Mary said she baby-sat for ANNA, when told about the listing for ANNA OBAMA at the Seattle address, where Mary supposedly was living with her husband Joseph. Not only did she name the woman she baby-sat for ANNA, she told Charlette Le Fevre WHEN.

And Mary did NOT name the child. Charlette provided all the 'identification'.
