Open Letter to Roger Ailes, President of Fox News Channel

(Mar. 30, 2011) — The following letter will be sent to Mr. Roger Ailes, President of Fox News Channel and Chairman of Fox Television Stations Group:

March 30, 2011

Mr. Roger Ailes President, Fox News Channel 1211 Avenue of the Americas New York, New York 10036

Dear Mr. Ailes:

Despite your leadership of the “profit engine” of News Corporation owned by Rupert Murdoch and a recipient of $23,000,000 in salary and bonuses last year, you have failed the American public by refusing to report the questions regarding the eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief of the United States.

One of your recommendations for success is for your staff to “read the U.S. Constitution.” When is the last time you read Article II, Section 1, clause 5, which states:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

With your extensive and impressive history in media production, politics, consulting and business, you have steadfastly refused to allow your staff to report on the most pressing matter possibly in the history of the country: whether or not the person currently occupying the White House has a constitutional right to do so according to Article II.

This little jihad style tantrum is why I am no longer a birther.

It’s not like everyone on the left is trying to take Fox down. MediaMatters has declared open war on Fox. Now the right’s trying to dictate their content?

Count me among some who think that Obama is deliberately being obtuse about this and may well be planning to release documents to make the birthers look bad.

That's faulty logic. You're saying because of the actions of some who question this President's documentation void, you now believe what the MSM is saying (about this)?

The evidence is mainly clear that Fox and the other major media outlets have indeed placed a blackout on this topic. Like I questioned in another post, do you think the Media would have the same reporting policies on the lack of documentation of a President if the President's name were Bush?

Claiming to be a “birther” or claiming not to be one? Does that really mean anything. So you claim to NOT be a birther now. Does that make the doubt that Zero is not qualified to be President go away. He IS or IS NOT qualified, I have doubts, how can I say I'm not a birther? How can you say it unless you’ve seen proof. Bottom line, are you fooling yourself?

Until this morning, we watched Fox News. However, today Whorealdo appeared and stated that the Libyan “rebels” were not militant Muslims and were just like “the people next door,” as though he could tell by interviewing one insurgent.

That that useful idiot can keep his job on Ailes’s network shows that there is a serious lapse in judgment on management’s part. We are through with Fox.

If the Birth Certificate issue were the only problem I had with FoxNews, I might think this was an ok idea.

@kittymyrib "We are through with Fox."

You're not the only ones.

FNC is fading quickly. It has totally abandoned the very people - conservatives - who made it a success.

yeah, like Roger Ailes is going to be persuaded by what some blogger thinks. If he even reads this letter, which he won’t.

>>>@kittymyrib “We are through with Fox.”

I quit FoxNews going on 5 years ago. Don’t miss it a bit.

FNC has RINOs, neocons and liberals, but few conservatives.

Hannity is the closest thing they have to a conservative and few can listen to his repetitous drone for more than 10 minutes.

Greta's show is the only prime time FNC show worth watching.

A constant diet of Rove, Krathammer, Morris, Perino night after night.

Roger Ailes will be persuaded by one thing - falling revenues due to falling ratings.

FNC’s ratings are starting to drop for two reasons; 1) it is hacking off conservatives and CNN offers better news coverage of Libya and Japan.

Jihad?

Isn't that a bit much?

Once it becomes obvious to one that Obama's past is an illusion, it is rather frustrating to be in the mix with people who still believe in the tooth fairy. This frustration doesn't take the form of suicide bombs, chopping anyones head off, blocking traffic anywhere, or scattering garbage on public property. No death threats have been issued; not even any in-your-face arguing.

But for you it's a jihad.

You have a lot to learn.

Of course he won't. But, an awful lot of Fox viewers are reading this letter via the Internet whom have the same complaints.

Freepers calling Michelle Bachmann names and Donald Trump is the messiah. Talk about bizarro world.

Funny how he didn’t care about the issue till he decided to run for president. Pro amnesty Trump doesn’t seem to care about the constitution much when he uses eminent domain to seize properties for his own personal gain.

Wow....you must believe the liar in chief then.....you really believe what he says about his “loving” family and beginnings in bill ayer’s book....the dreams from my father?

Ayer’s has the sickest perverted mind of all and it is not much worse than the liar in chiefs. Jihad style tantrum....ha...ha to think logic and reason no longer matter in the USA and reason is referred to as a “tantrum”. .

I have seen no evidence that Team Obama is smart enough to have planned this as some kind of trap.

Nice stawman. You must feel real tough knocking that one down. Fact is I was pushing this issue before the election and have been driven away by idiots who attack anyone who disagrees with them.
