CNN’s Anderson Cooper Hammers Democrat Alan Grayson over Attack Ads – Video

Here is video of Florida Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson being hammered by CNN’s Anderson Cooper over his pathetic ad against his GOP opponent Dan Webster in which Grayson called him, “Taliban Dan.”

Grayson tried to defend the essential content of the ad, while admitting they have now allowed the ad to die. But Anderson Cooper was relentless in calling Grayson out for the way he cut what Webster said in order to make it say something entirely opposite what he was actually saying.

Cooper also called Grayson out for another ad in which he attacks Webster for not serving in Vietnam. Cooper asked Grayson if he had served in the military, which he never answered. Cooper asked him why he would run that ad, leaving the impression he had served in the military when Webster did not. Grayson came back at Cooper with, “Did the ad say that?” When Cooper told Grayson the ad leaves the clear implication that Grayson served and Webster did not, Grayson told Cooper, “I think you are looking for reasons to attack me.”

You know you are on the far, extreme-Left when you believe CNN and Anderson Cooper are looking for reasons to attack you, even though you are a Democrat!!!

Kudos to Anderson Cooper for this interview.

Grayson’s not running for reelection. He’s running for a spot on “Politically Incorrect”.

Only one reason CNN doing this - ratings; they know their ratings are in the tank. When was the last time CNN spoke for and not against an “R”? - it’s been a long time, if ever.

Watching Grayson’s comments it seems likely that he has some significant psychological issues. He seems almost antisocial. He clearly has problems with narcissism, which is why he can never admit that he is wrong and has such a skewed sense of personal reality. Interesting how often politics attracts people with these problems.

Correct. But by the second week of November they’ll be back to attacking Republicans 24/7.

If CNN had a paper, I'd likely wipe my butt with it. However, the inkstains would also likely indelibly stain me with caustic leftist venom. I'll have to settle for just not reading or seeing their trash.

It doesn’t surprise me that Grayson says the stuff he says. And Anderson Cooper calling him out on it doesn’t surprise me either. What truly blows my mind is the people who keep electing this nutjob to serve them.

Interesting. If one only listens to the MSM, you’d think that the GOP is the only one going negative. At least that is the only thing I hear on MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc...

OK. I've put on my asbestos long johns, my leather blacksmiths apron and my welding helmet. I'm ready to admit it:

I both enjoy and respect Anderson Cooper.

Unlike all the vast majority of news celebrities (O'Reily, Beck, Hannity, Maddow, Olberman, Matthews) who just read stuff and then spout off about it Cooper at least goes where the story is.

He is the only major anchhor I've seen do reporting from the heartland of Afghanistan, for instance. He did an amazing piece where he want to the compound that had been occupied by Bin Laden prior to 9/11. He did an entire month from Louisianna after the oil spill. He talked to lots and lots of people. Fox barely covered what was going on there, because there isn't anything for O'Reilly to "blovate" about.

Cooper may not be perfect but he seems to at least rate the title of "journalist" or "newsman" in a way that the vast majority of talking heads, right and left, do not.

Grayson is a favorite guest on all the MSNBC shows. The fact that even Anderson Cooper couldn’t continue to ignore this psycho’s behavior hardly makes Cooper “fair and balanced”.
