Obama Launches Frontal Attack on Conservative Talk Radio
Columbia Conservative Examiner ^ | August 15, 2009 | Anthony G. Martin

We knew this was coming. We told you it would happen as far back as last year during the campaign.

It is now official. Barack Obama has launched a full, frontal attack on conservative talk radio, and he is doing it without re-implementing 'the Fairness Doctrine.'

But first, a bit of background.

The statement about silencing dissent is so true.

The best thing for us, for this kind of nonsense to proceed full steam ahead. I welcome it.

First, this kind of unAmerican activity will continue to get people motivated in time for 2010 elections. If they pull an ACORN on us at those elections, it will be obvious and the anger will, hopefully, finally boil over.

Second, I have confidence that Rush, Sean, Glenn have contingency plans. They may at some point be forced off AM, but I see no possibility for their voices to be silenced. And, if forced off, they will be stronger after than before. Can anyone say Radio Free America or Voice of America in reverse?

Why would government officials want to launch such an assault on conservative talk radio when they practically have all of the rest of the media in their hip pocket?

The answer is chilling. Only tyrannical governments wish to silence the voices of dissent and totally dominate communications and media.

Make no mistake about this, my friends. This is an open assault on free speech, the First Amendment, and private enterprise.

This is totally unconstitutional. An outright assault on our first amendment right to free speech. IF he gets away with this, he will do the second amendment right the same way! That boy is going to start a revolution. He's not paying attention to the anger in America, and it's NOT all about health care.

FCC’s Chief Diversity Officer Wants Private Broadcasters to Pay a Sum Equal to Their Total Operating Costs to Fund Public Broadcasting

(CNSNews.com) - Mark Lloyd, newly appointed Chief Diversity Officer of the Federal Communications Commission, has called for making private broadcasting companies pay licensing fees equal to their total operating costs to allow public broadcasting outlets to spend the same on their operations as the private companies do.

Obama believes the stinging rebuke he is getting on his health plan has been wholly driven by conservative talk radio and will seek revenge.

Good luck with that.

Anybody with an IQ above room temperature can reason out that in a free exchange, private enterprise culture no business would thrive if their customers were not happy with their product.
The stinging rebuke to his socialist national transformation is driven by free people choosing their sources. Talk radio is the visible result, certainly not the cause.

Only in a true fascist state (look it up) can government take over the reins of all information directly or indirectly. And of course, to subsidize the enormous cost of an expensive, bloated new welfare bureaucracy.

Change we can believe in, from the great "uniter," from what I've seen so far is plunging us headlong into a class war, along with a few other simultaneous wars and, taking a sober look at the prospects, think about this: who will be the ultimate winners?

The producers or the toxic parasites?

Further, he contended that large private broadcast corporations had driven liberals off the air and that there was a dire need for ‘diversity of ownership.’

Assertions aren't worth the paper they're written on...

How exactly, in a free society, can "liberals be driven off the air?"

There is no remedy for ignorance and ineptness --- specially not government money.

What about the Internet? Most get their information from the Internet. I listen to RUSH and LEVIN on the Internet. Is Zero going to control that too?

That is the easiest to control. Ignorance is bliss. Government just needs to take over a few doze internet hubs, and the web is kaput as we know it.

That's why I chuckle at the "Telephone Service for $19.95 a year! commercials. The bottom of the IQ gene pool is rushing to save tons of money as the Czars in DC just salivate at the time when a sufficient number of subscribers has reached the crtical point and --- WHAMMO! Incredible taxes as well as total control of web content. But at least we will finally have a way to eliminate spam; at least the non-gevernmental kind.

Frankly it’s a very stupid move that could only be made by a group (the Administration) that lives in an echo chamber but hears nothing from outside.

Maybe they forgot about Rush’s ebay sale of the Reid letter ?

There may come a time that conservative radio and Fox News will regret that they were so silent about Obama’s natural born status.

The man is likely in the White House illegitimately. If he were in prison he wouldn't be able to shut down conservative programing.
