Can Obama fix this economy? People get caught up in ideology and method names rather than analyzing methods, creating hybrids, and finding solutions to the economic problems. One must visualize the economy and understand what the current problems are and what variables need fixing and how to motivate the market and consumers to fix the economy themselves.

IMO, he's going about it the wrong way IF he wants to fix the economy.

His agenda is to socialize the government, medicine, and everything else that will stand still long enough.

I hope his policies fail!

He can fix it with a final peace sign as he boards Air Force One, one final time.

The real question is "this economy" as bad off as reported by the msm? If it is, then the Obama's are living mighty high off the hog in an economy he repeatedly tells us is dire. What on earth is the leader of the nation doing serving Wagyu steak at $300.00 per pound and up. Dick Durbin's boss is not telling him everything as the Left's mouth piece is wringing his hands and almost in tears as he describes the state of America.

They are all bluffing....don't let the Stimulus pass the senate.....put their feet in the fire over this latest heist.

Agree it needs to run it’s course. Though lowering taxes across the board wouldn’t hurt as well as smaller government. We don’t need scaremongering and YES WE CAN DO IT OURSELVES thank you Mr. President.

The ‘Rats seem to be of the opinion that tax breaks aren’t going to be consumed but will be used only for paying off debts. In the worst case it will end up with the banks so less bankbailouts are needed (still a better scenario than the rats). In the better case scenario people will consume at least earlier when dues are paid. Porkbarrals will make things worse for everybody; creating more debt for every one of us.

Get out of the way and let the markets work, that’s how...oh, and lower the crap out of taxes while reducing the size of government by 25%.

Ok, so I’m dreaming, but can’t a guy do that at least still?

This economy was doomed when Clinton had the Glass Stegall Act repealed and allowed investment bankers to gamble other peoples money leveraging up to 50 and 100 to 1. Then when the 5 bankers at Morgan Stanley dreamed up the fiction of credit default swaps to guarantee the loans. The government (democrats) and the damn bakers are to blame and it is unfixable without serious pain by all of us. Damn the bankers and damn the democtats.
