McCain gave money to Khalidi? The truth behind the meme
nn&v ^ | 10-30-08 | nuke

The meme being circulated by the Obama mafia says that the Obama-Khalidi association really isn’t any big deal. Otherwise, why would John McCain have given over $400,000 to a Palestinian group that Khalidi worked with?

It’s true that McCain distributed several grants, including one worth about half a million dollars, to the Center for Palestine Research and Studies, or CPRS, a West Bank organization once associated with Khalidi.

What the 0-bots fail to mention is that CPRS is pro-Western and can be characterized as pro-Israel.

Khalidi left CPRS. The Khalidi organization Obama helped fund as a board member for a nonprofit, alongside domestic terrorist William Ayers, has taken a flagrantly anti-Israel line. Khalidi’s Arab American Action Network has hosted scores of Israel-bashing events, including at least one reportedly attended by Obama.

A pretty far cry from McCain’s kids being babysat by Khalidis...or sitting next to Kahlidi at an Israel bashfest....or dining with Kahlidi multiple times in their home. All this when Barak was a bit older than 8 years old!

Buying a VW is NOT the same as praising Hitler. The difference is that simple!

What's wrong with giving money to Khalidi? Is the Obama Mafia implying that Obama’s freind Khalidi supports terrorists?

Thanks for this information. Yesterday on Hannity and Colmes, Colmes wouldn’t stop saying McCain gave $448,000 to Khalidi. Tonight Colmes again said the same thing over and over. No one on the show seemed to know what Colmes was talking about.
Appreciate your work, grandpa jones.

Connect the dots.

Khalidi - PLO spokesperson, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror, Obama's friend
Ayers - terrorist, dedicated book to Sirhan Sirhan, Obama's friend
Sirhan Sirhan - Palestinian immigrant, assassinated R. Kennedy

Birds of a Feather Flock together. Who do you think Obama supports Israel or the Palestinians?

Add to this in comparison that the Woods foundation under Obama gave $40,000 to the Arab American Action Network founded by Khalidi in Chicago, the description and aims of which sound like you’re painting a picture of Acorn but with the focus on the Arab American communities, community activism, social justice etc.

I don’t believe McCain gave any money to Palestinians. And if he did, he probably didn’t know who they were. So he has no responsibility for this.

I just mailed this article to Hannity...
McCain's Palestinian ties of his own
Foreign Affairs noted in September of that year that IRI had helped fund several extensive studies in Palestine run by Khalidi's group, including over 30 public opinion polls and a study of "sociopolitical attitudes."

I told him to stop taking kicks to the testicles over this and kick back!
Doesn't the man have researchers of his own?

If true then that's just pathetic! No wonder the man always seems so behind on events.

Glenn Beck’s research staff is top notch, and it took him a few days to get up to speed on this one, too.

I'll just have to take your word on their being top notch.
Again, maybe I'm expecting too much.

An aside...Beck's show was the only thing I watched on his old station! I'm looking forward to the new show when it begins early next year.
